Lurker 5
Is the PG-13 rating official yet? I have not seen it mentioned in Variety or StarWars.com. Yes, I know AICN mentioned it, but I really don't like getting my movie news from them. Plus, the last time I checked it wasn't even mentioned at the MPAAs website. So, has it been rated yet?Neil
Mr. Breathmask 555
It's not official. The movie has not been rated yet. I think bondo meant to point out that the M15 rating is PG-13 in the US.
Unlucky Bastard 7,782
AOTC was rated PG in Australia, but was re-rated to M15+ for the DVD release (for what reason, I don't know). There was no material on the second disc that had any material worth giving it a new rating. As for ROTS, I dunno.
Mr. Breathmask 555
Could it be the theatrical release had the headbut in the Jango vs. Obi-Wan fight cut out, while the DVD had it reinstated? Only logical possibility I can think of.I don't really see why, but the OT is rated 12 here. TPM is AL (All Ages) while AotC is MG6 (Parental Guidance suggested below 6).- Marc
