'Ryatt Trail' I recognise - but I can't pick where in the film I heard it. It's probably for me the most interesting unreleased cue here with its string ostinato and low brass murmurings.'Droid Cave' comes from the Opera Scene. Possibly the second half. No statement of the Emperor's Theme here.'Oktikuti City' is the fanfare material following the landing of the ship I think. (Cue 2M3 'Another Happy Landing'.)'Elder's Hut' is the extended end to the Lament cue, starting with Yoda's escape.'Rodian Safari' is an extension of the material in 'Palpatine's Teachings' from the OST. There are some familiar moments here.'Dead Forest' seems to be an edit of parts of 'Anakin's Dark Deeds' and something else I haven't heard on the OST. Anakin's arrival was scored with 'Enter, Lord Vader' in the film, as were the establishing shots. Is this Amidala's Arrival that the Rodian files refer to? A jump to hyperspace, perhaps.UPDATE: It is a jump to Hyperspace! I went to Episode III today and brought a CD player with me (with this music). It's an alternate of 3M5 Goodbye Old Friend, the part in which the grand version of the Force Theme plays. The quieter music as the starfighter disappears and the segue to Anakin's nightmare are the same in both versions. If this scene was rescored with the Force Theme, then what a great rescoring! The gutteral singing is there, but the orchestral music bears no resemblance to the film cue. Henry B 50 Posted May 31, 2005 Share Posted May 31, 2005 The first part of "Grievous and the Droids," up until after Luke's Theme, WOULD HAVE underscored the crash landing in the Invisible Hand and the ensuing battle, but it was dialled out. Part of the later action music in "Grievous in the Droids" underscores the bridge battle.
