Koray Savas 2,256
David's poll about the Oscar noms reminded me of this semi-tradition that was started up a few years back.During this round, you, the voters, will pick the nominees which will then be voted on later.I remember there being some issue with incorporating TV and video games, so I will create separate categories, albeit with less nominee slots to make it easier to fill out.Film...Pick your 5 favorite film scores of the year for this category. The 5 scores with the most votes will be nominated.Television...Pick your 3 favorite TV scores of the year for this category. This category represents the show's season as a whole, so no votes for particular episodes. I will accept TV movies, if that's what you feel is best. I know a lot of people here love Sherlock.Video games...Pick your 3 favorite VG scores of the year for this category. Anything goes as long as it's a video game. Richard P 4,658
TV: nothing other than Sherlock and Lost leapt out at me.Films:How to Train Your DragonThe WolfmanThe Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn TreaderI thought those 3 were outstanding efforts - anything else I could list is either not completely original, or has some flaws that makes me not consider the composer at the top of their game for that score. That kinda defeats the purpose of nominations. If those three were your favorites, what other two would you like the most after?
Richard P 4,658
Ok, I also (eventually) liked The Last Airbender and Alice in Wonderland.

Jay 41,793
Sadly I haven't seen nearly as many 2010 films as I would have liked to, in fact the only ones I saw are:Youth In RevoltShutter IslandHow To Train Your DragonDate NightKick-AssIron Man 2Toy Story 3PredatorsInceptionThe Other GuysScott Pilgrim Vs The WorldMacheteThe TownThe Social NetworkHarry Potter 7Black SwanI guess my top 5 would be:1. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World2. Machete3. Kick-Ass4. Toy Story 35. Youth In RevoltI really need to see The Ghost Writer, Winter's Bone, The Kids Are All Right, Let Me In, The King's Speech, The Fighter, and True GritAs for scores?Toy Story 3 and How To Train Your Dragon are the only ones I remember. I guess Kick-Ass was decent too.

Koray Savas 2,256
I believe he is Japanese, and lives in New York. But for some reason I think he's living in Germany or somewhere in Europe at the moment.
