Maurizio 5,991 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Looks like another 65-70 mins. album. Track 14 should be the movie's finale, but we have still two tracks to go. So, assuming one of that will be for sure the End Credits, I wonder if the other one could be another concert arrangement (maybe "Joey's Theme") or the previously mentioned John Tams' piece from the stage version's score.

Incanus 5,858 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Yes it does by the sound of the trailers alone truly brilliant, heartfelt and lyrical. The score according to Amazon is released in Europe in January 2012. January 16th to be exact.

BrĂłnach 1,320 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Then it's the End Credits and not a concert piece. If this was 17 tracks we could have the credits and a concert piece.

Richard P 4,810 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Exactly how is track 14 a spoiler? A pretty generic title IMO.I'd say 15's worse actually...
BLUMENKOHL 1,087 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I don't understand how anything related to a 30 year old story can be considered spoiler. In other news, I hear Johnny is writing a track for Lincoln called 19. The Assassination (10:16)
Jay 42,886 Posted October 17, 2011 Author Posted October 17, 2011 According to my source, the US release date is November 24th
Joe Brausam 230 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Wow, that's soon. Can't wait though! It looks like it'll be a great album.
indy4 159 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 According to my source, the US release date is November 24thExcellent! Although it'll be tricky trying to listen to the album without reading the titles of tracks 12 and 14...
Jay 42,886 Posted October 17, 2011 Author Posted October 17, 2011 Yea, but its a Thursday, and in the US CDs come out on Tuesday, so I dunno...
Henry B 51 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I don't think the title of the film should be mentioned outside of spoiler threads. It reveals that the movie has to do with a war and a horse. From now on please refer to it as "upcoming live action Steven Spielberg film."
nightscape94 967 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Yea, but its a Thursday, and in the US CDs come out on Tuesday, so I dunno...It's also Thanksgiving.
Jay 42,886 Posted October 17, 2011 Author Posted October 17, 2011 Yea. My source could be wrong about that.
Incanus 5,858 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 An 8 minute End Credits Suite. Wow! I am really looking forward to this. And oh man, the CD is longer than The Adventures of Tintin one. I am sure a certain someone is not going to like this.
Little Ghost 7,938 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 oh man, the CD is longer than Tintin's. I am sure a certain someone is not going to like this. Yeah, Me.
Incanus 5,858 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 oh man, the CD is longer than Tintin's. I am sure a certain someone is not going to like this. Yeah, Me.OK so there are several someones who are not going to like this.I am extremely happy with this CD if the track titles are anything to go by. They seem to be in a near chronological order. I bet this is going to be a great listening experience. And it doesn't seem to have music from other artists on it.
Josh500 1,620 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Probably the End Credits suite, right?Well, End Credits... or concert suite.I just wanted a piece where you can hear the major theme(s) in all its (their) glory. I just hope that it's not previously heard pieces edited together... but then, I'm not even bothered that much by that.

According to FilmComposer, Williams did record an End Credits suite consisting of the three major themes of the film ('Celtic Horse Theme', 'Bonding Theme' and 'Dartmoor Theme'). I have the feeling it's going to be an amazing track.
Neimoidian 14 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Ok, people, I've got some news. I've found a website where there is a different tracklist. There are 17 tracks: the additional track is called Riding Rockets (Rockets is the name of the horse), and the last track has a different title (A Thirst For Horse Riding).Which one do you think is the real tracklist? My copy of WH says it's 16.
Little Ghost 7,938 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 The Second disc only has 10 minutes of "unreleased" williams music, the rest is an interview.
crocodile 9,227 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 What about Picking Horses? Is that also on this set?Karol
Little Ghost 7,938 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Yes, but its microedited to heck, the "horse whinny piccolo" section is edited out.
Neimoidian 14 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 The Second disc only has 10 minutes of "unreleased" williams music, the rest is an interview. Good the rest is not DJ Tiesto's remixes.
Little Ghost 7,938 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 his remixes play throughout the Interview.
