  1. I got the 2-Disc version the day it was released, the store I got it at only had about 2 copies of it. It cost me $40 but I think it was worth it, I think it is a really nice set.
  2. Sayuri's Theme? Cool, that was unexpected! Though, I would rather be suprised by Seven Years in Tibet.
  3. Order Schindler's List from JW Pepper. They won't stock it if you don't order it, it seems. It takes about 3 weeks from the placement of the order to recieving it if its on backorder.
  4. I got Nixon yesterday. I actually like it a lot, though it has a different feel than i expected. The opening track though, its awesome!
  5. I think I just fixed it! It shows the old bio now after i went into edit, do you all see the old one now too?
  6. Thats one of my favorite tracks on the album. The end credits is also really nice.
  7. So I just got the John Williams - 40 Years of Film Music set, recorded by City of Prague. I really didn't have a problem with it till i reached the fourth disc and listen to Arlington from JFK. More specifically the horn solo in the beggining. Number one...the player hits a wrong note...an easy note at that too. I mean come on, its supposed be be an F#, not natural! And it is played so rigidly and lacks all the emotion it could have. I played that solo better when I was SIGHTREADING it. Ugh. Otherwise...the collection is alrightish.
  8. It should. LEGO Star Wars for PSP has complete cues in it, and some fragments. Granted, its an OT game, so there isn't PT music in it, but even so.
  9. Hmm...actually would it be bad if I did John Cage's 4'33" for my conducting juries?
  10. Hmm, I've only ever heard Rite of Spring once, though with all this talk of it I think I may have to give it another run through.
  11. Actually no... I am using the horn part in Fawkes the Phoenix as an orchestral excerpt, as well as Ravel's Bolero. Neverland is just for fun. When I get to my conducting juries in another year I may use The Lost World, being that I hear so much about the time changes and such. It could be pretty impressive.
  12. I just ordered Chamber of Secrets and Flight to Neverland to perform at my juries next month. Pi, i am sending a pm to you with a yousendit link for Wondrous World. Edit: assuming internet explorer decides to work.
  13. Sound's like Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra.
  14. I'm not quite sure what the difference is, but I found a place that has the children's suite in stock, so I am not sure what my next purchase will be. I was thinking either Sorcerer's Stone, the Children's Suite, or Two Concert Pieces from Angela's Ashes.
  15. I'm a Born on the Fourth of July guy myself...even when I'm happy.
  16. It plays just as Legolas sees the wolves and riders come over the hill before the reach Helm's Deep.
  17. Its definately a horn, and it plays a little bit of the bridge section of the Star Wars main theme, I believe.
  18. I've actually always enjoyed Horner's The Mask of Zorro.
  19. I like BotH more right now, but only becuase I think that Duelt of the Fates is so overused in pop culture that its just become boring to me now.
