  1. This is something I never thought I'd say but Norm MacDonald and Adam Sandler made me laugh... then made me teary-eyed in their tribute to Letterman. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9I9zafXQkk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwr-ZG8p_CY
  2. I know this thread is dead but it would be a waste not to include this: Robert De Niro - Ennio Morricone 1900 Once Upon A Time In America The Mission The Untouchables

  5. I love this fanfare at the beginning before the "Welcome to Tsavo" cue but sadly wasn't included in the original album. It's the kind of fanfare that only JG can do:
  6. Sanguis, BB-mus Corpus Incanus And once Dm has done so, thus the trumpets will be blown to the sound of the Catholic Fanfare (which is Greek for "Universal Fanfare")
  7. I'm not impressed with his fanfares, at least the two that I've heard; his re-working of JG's Universal Fanfare and the Marvel Fanfare.
  8. I prefer this one. Too plodding and and uninspired. Even their heroic walk in the intro doesn't look like they're excited to be there. Prefer the 2nd intro.
  9. It'd be awesome if Zack Snyder used this epic theme for Superman v Batman film IMHO Zimmer should use this
  10. This one I think is the pinnacle of his synth mastery achievement
  11. Or he'll be doing what Christopher Lee did in The Hobbit movies
  12. If we're going to erase all the existing bad movies in history, then JG's output may probably be reduced to a dozen. Maybe less.
  13. Also anything by Aaron Seltzer / Jason Friedberg
  14. Yeah, even xylophilia became dated now too.
  15. That's what Jerry said... "If the composer use electronic sound they should understand it."
  16. Yeah that's more diplomatic isn't it?
  17. Recovered? His career died over a decade ago. Yeah but with that nomination it probably could've re-ignite his film score career. But then again he shies away from mainstream projects...
  18. Kinda sad that the last time Broughton was on the news was that Oscar fiasco... seems he never recovered from that one.
