Was going through Jim titus’ profile on behance (adobe social network for designers) and found these two articles he put together for his work on both: TMP 3 cd release https://www.behance.net/gallery/13102945/Star-Trek-The-Motion-Picture and the vinyl release https://www.behance.net/gallery/56339157/Star-Trek-The-Motion-Picture-Vinyl-Album-Cover-Art intersting stuff from one of the best designers working in our beloved hobby!

True but sometimes there’re are shows that are just worth it and keep you there like the grand tour for amazon prime or talkin toons on alpha. Not saying you don’t take what else is on the service into consideration but if you came there primarily for one thing and it makes it “worth it” to you it could keep me in the service longer. Heck when Netflix came to Canada there was next to nothing on it and I only kept it for a couple shows.

Well if they keep doing things like “resolving” the entire arc of the season in a 10 minute speech after spending literally hours playing in the mirror universe (which don’t get me wrong was a blast) I’d be killing my subscription too. Doesn’t matter how great the visuals and some characters are if they are going to blow all the tension in completely in satisfying ways.

KittBash replied to Jay's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
Jay has been adding them slowly to the first post in this thread. I'm sure he'll keep doing that as time permits. -

I can see why people are thinking that photo might be legit for a sec... it looks a little like the FYC 2 disc set for War for the Planet of The Apes that Fox put out for Giacchino's score this year. -
Looks like there's a review of the set on youtube today [EDIT... lets try a different link] According to Techmoan "This video has been re-uploaded. It now contains a better demonstration of the hologram using a smartphone flashlight, a less relevant (and possibly confusing) section has been removed and most importantly... an outro has been added. E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial La-La Land MUSIC Discussion
KittBash replied to Jay's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
Not sure this has been posted before but as a designer myself I love Jim Titus’ work and I keep an eye on his behance profile to get some insights he sometimes posts there. No ET yet but lots of his other projects can be seen. https://www.behance.net/jimtitus -
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial La-La Land MUSIC Discussion
KittBash replied to Jay's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
Agreed, I’ve owned a small marketing agency for over 10 years and we’ve had to work with some decent sized brands (nothing like E.T. mind you) and it’s always hard coming up with key art etc. for something with big expectations but you can always tell when the person working on it loves what they do like Jim Titus! -
Wow finally got a chance to read the whole thing. Excellent work Jay! like others have mentioned it really shines a light on the work people like MM do for these releases and makes us fans all the more appreciative. On on another note i don’t want to seem mean spirited here but I wish more interviews / articles on FSM took this approach. I’d still be a subscriber then.

Celebrating 21 YEARS of CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO
KittBash replied to Erik Woods's topic in General Discussion
Wow custom edits very cool you obviously enjoyed doing those? -
Ha!! Now there’s a “score restore” project for someone!

Solid middle of the pack score. Honestly I probably come back to this one from time to time just to hear the electronic JW rock out session. You know what time to give it a spin again.

Did I miss something or was there a release of this I don't know about??

Oh I know it went out of print forever and a day ago but it's it really that sought after to command that price? If I didn't love it so much I'd start thinking of parting with mine! EDIT: Apparently it's just us crazy Canadians... Amazon US has it for a more appropriate $50 https://www.amazon.com/Secret-Weapons-Normandy-Michael-Giacchino/dp/B00012FXW2

After seeing this setlist for the concert (I'm so jealous!) I decided to revisit some of the greats from the past... Got to Secret Weapons over Normandy and noticed on Amazon they want somewhere near $200 for it!!!! https://www.amazon.ca/Secret-Weapons-Normandy-Michael-Giacchino/dp/B01KB2BKOQ/ref=sr_1_34?ie=UTF8&qid=1508593567&sr=8-34&keywords=michael+giacchino I mean yeah it's a great score but has it really gotten that rare!?
