  1. Has anyone here seen the film yet? If so, is the score already in chronological order?
  2. So, having just seen the film, I’m assuming (similar to the first film) the score is already in chronological order for the most part? If not, feel free to drop the correct order.
  3. I know it’s been a year and all, but was it ever determined that All Quiet On the Western Front’s score was in chronological order or not? I checked the thread dedicated to the score and it seems like that never even came up as a topic of conversation……….
  4. Has anyone determined the chronological order for the Godzilla Minus One score yet? After having seen the movie myself yesterday I can tell it isn’t, though how far off the mark the track listing is is difficult to determine due to me still processing the film as a whole…….
  5. So, does anybody else think the score is absolutely gorgeous and some of the best work he’s done in quite some time? On par with his work on Dune and Dark Phoenix (not the best movie, but the DP score and the supplementary “sketches” album are fantastic).
  6. Huh…….kinda makes you wonder why they felt the need to reissue the entire album again with just those 3 tracks that never even made it into the finished film added on……not that I’m complaining, of course. Anything by Pemberton tends to be amazing (especially when it’s tied to the Spiderverse franchise). It just feels a cash-grab to rerelease the entire score album under the pretense of it being a “Special” or “Deluxe” edition with those being the only new additions to the overall album. I tend to feel this way whenever a score album is rereleased and whatever new additions we get aren’t very substantial in the grand scheme of things.
  7. Save for maybe Zimmer with his score for Dune Part 2. But that’s assuming Dune Part 2 won’t be delayed, like I’ve been hearing whispers about as of late……..
  8. So that particular cue is indeed at the very end of the film like it’s placed on the score album? It just seems like that’s an awkward track to use as for the ending credits……unless it was played during the final scene before the credits roll…….
  9. So would the film’s main theme be considered “Run” Or “Worlds Collide”? I know a lot of people are saying that it’s Wallfisch’s quoting of the Danny Elfman Batman theme……..but I don’t accept that because this is a FLASH movie and not a Batman movie………so is Run the ACTUAL Flash theme?
  10. Including the second Worlds Collide track at the end? I had assumed the second (non-Superman) version was like concert suite, or something…….
  11. It’s been about 2 days, so I guess it’s an appropriate time ask this. Has anyone been able to figure out the chronological listing of the Flash score yet? Benjamin Wallfisch has a pretty inconsistent record when it comes to the chronological track listings of his scores. One release will be entirely in chronological order and then the next will be heavily out of order. So while my first inclination was to assume it already was in order, I think it’s best if I just check in and get a second opinion. As always, I appreciate any help you guys can provide.
  12. Apparently not too old to finish these last two films in the main franchise.
  13. Has anyone managed to figure out the chronological order of the Rise of the Beasts score yet? It seems to me that it’s already mostly in chronological order, it’s just the placement of a few tracks here and there that I need a second opinion on…….as always, any help provided is greatly appreciated. P.S. I love how the original Steve Jablonsky Autobots theme is reprised in all its full glory at the end of the movie. I have no idea whether or not the 5 pre-Bumblebee movies are still canon or not, but even if they aren’t, it’s nice hearing the musical continuity being somewhat carried over into this new phase of the franchise.
  14. I guess this explains why, despite 8 years of searching the internet top to bottom, I’ve been completely unable to find anywhere that can get me anywhere near finding the proper order for F7……..or the eighth film and Hobbs and Shaw for that matter……..
  15. We actually have two more movies left. They decided to turn the “finale” into a 3 part trilogy. So while yes, this is technically “the end” it’s more so the “beginning of the end”, rather than the end outright.
  16. Would anyone happen to know the chronological order of the Fast X score? I know the movie’s been out for 2 weeks, but the score was just released last night. So I’ll understand if it takes some time to configure. I’d appreciate whenever it you get around to it.
  17. Was going to ask this myself. Thanks for pretty much doing it for me lol. With this, “The Waters” playlist can properly be completed……until Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, that is.
  18. What they said………but also in chronological order please……thank you. 🙏
  19. Yeah, it really sucks. Even the more somber and “emotional” music I’m hearing on Murphy’s score is very generic and not very distinct compared to the more elegant emotional music Bates composed for the first two films (which often interwove variations of the main theme into these cues). 😞
  20. Ironically enough, there’s a track from the first film that plays during an action sequence (from about 1:51 to 2:24) that sounds extremely similar to the “Two Times Galaxy Savers” from from the second film (a little less bombastic and dynamic, but carries a similar degree of aggression and spiritedness). I combed the third film’s score looking for something similar, but got nothing even remotely close. Not that I need a track that played the motif in that particular way or something extremely specific like that, but it would have been nice to have something like that to make the musical continuity between the three films come full circle…… Also, it seems the first film is the only film in the trilogy to have the full theme play in all its glory (as you can hear towards the end of this track), compared to second and third film which only seems to reprise the first section of the theme, but never quotes the second section……….which annoyed me to no end so much when I first listened to the score for the second movie all the way back in 2017 to the point where I was mentally finishing the rest of the theme in my head when I heard perfect moments in the score for it to go. Lol
  21. I was referring to 2:38 on this track, but the fact that the other time that the original leitmotif for the Guardians theme appears on another track (the one you posted), but was played in such an underwhelming manner that I didn’t even notice it at first really says something………lol https://youtu.be/3gdkaQAO8Nk Also, for comparisons sake, the last minute or so of this track from the second film is probably (in my opinion, of course) the absolute BEST rendition of the Guardians theme I’ve heard to date……..compare that to the two renditions we found on the score from the third film (so far)…………😑.
  22. I haven’t seen the film yet, but from what I’ve heard from the score (which was released today), Murphy uses Bates’ theme once……obviously, not every cue fro, the finished film is present on this watered down release, but that’s still a strong indicator that the theme won’t be used very often. In general, the score sounds less like Bates’ more traditionally orchestral scores for the first two films and more akin to the synthetic, guitar-heavy score from The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker…….so generally less impressive and more generic sounding (to me, anyway).
  23. So I’m guessing the score is in chronological order then, since I’m not seeing any major alterations to it’s order in the various posts I’ve seen on here since it was released a few days ago.
