What bugs me more is the fact the new re-releases from Intrada use an almost identical art and design as their previous releases (Inchon, Species, Honey... etc..). Which makes it very hard to differenciate one version from the other. I'm sure a lot of people will end up buying the previous version of Honey or Inchon, thinking they're getting the remastered or expanded one. here is my "remastered" cover I shrunk the kids even more on this one to get closer to their actual scale in the movie. and I made Rick look down compared to the original poster. You can see my alternate cover on the Custom Covers Thread

What Is The Last Film You Watched? (Older Films)
Steffromuk replied to Mr. Breathmask's topic in General Discussion
I re-watched SHAUN OF THE DEAD a couple days ago. Ouch! It really didn't age well. I used to be a fan, but so many gags either aren't funny or are problematic to today standards. And the editing feels very amateurish. It felt like I was watching a student film. There are stil a few moments that work and brought a smile to my face but that's it. -
Thanks @heidl, it's been corrected. This visual is actually a collector action figure I found online. it looks better than the alien in the movie I think

@raferjanders I like the first one very much. For the second, I'm not to keen on the frame

Hans Zimmer's THE THIN RED LINE (1998) - 2019 4-CD La-La Land Edition
Steffromuk replied to Jay's topic in General Discussion
I bought the 4CD set when it came out. That was a mistake. This is the most unnecessary expansion I've ever listened to. It's so boring. After 3 tracks, it feels like you're listening to the same track over and over. Even the 4th disc with the polinesian choirs (which I loved on the original album) gets on my nerves after 4 tracks. I agree with Thor, the original program was more than enough. -
Christopher Young's SPECIES (1995) - NEW! 2024 Intrada 2-CD edition
Steffromuk replied to Jay's topic in General Discussion
Not putting samples is, in my opinion, a big mistake. It happened many times I bought a soundtrack only after I listened to the samples. So many bad movies have great scores. I would not own half of my Goldsmith collection if I didn't hear samples. I hope it's not a new rule at Intrada. If it is, they will surely lose many potential customers -

it's not a clown face but a mask. Could be Predator I or II which, if the 1st one is What Lies Beneath, a Silvestri double release -

I made a slightly different version for those who prefer it not just refering to the video game, since it was originally a score to accompany the reader of the book. and another one using a source from the comic book series

OH MY!!!! Thank you so much for this!!!! I updated the cover.

an updated version of Shadows of the Empire with an enhanced artwork and I remade the title

Thanks! I found a color source but it was in bad shape and I had to do some heavy restauration work on it and some AI upscale too, since the image was quite small, as you can see below.

VOTE on next Goldsmith recording project for Leigh Phillips!
Steffromuk replied to Yavar Moradi's topic in General Discussion
@Yavar Moradiyou got me excited for Lionheart. Which has always been a disappointment to me under its actual form. Now I can't wait to hear Goldsmith's intended version. Ideally I'd want all to be recorded., especially Thriller volume 3 but I picked all synth scores cause I'm intrigued how Leigh's recording will sound. From my experience, synth scores are the hardest to re-create faithfully. We're so spoiled! -
I'm a huge fan of his work. But somehow I assumed he past away a while ago. A great composer.

If I may say, the "Africa" on the barely noticeable map in the background looks like a watermark or a mistake.
