This is one of the few Goldsmith scores that I never had the original release for. I’ll grab this one.

Yeah, it used to be midnight PT. Now it’s 12:00 noon PT, I think. For some reason Lionheart and Knowing dropped early, they were available when I woke up that morning.

Didn’t MV mention JP 3 as something they were looking into or planning on doing down the road?

I enjoy it and would welcome an expanded / complete release.

Bring in the heavy guns, Perseverance, they managed to get Slipstream out…... 😬😏

Got mine today, first thing I did in iTunes was take the two separated cues, “The Eels…” and “Kirk in Space Shuttle” and move them to the main program. 😁 The sound is improved, much more separation and clarity in the cues.

@OneBuckFilms I’m the same way. Unless it’s a unique album I get rid of the previous version.

With the 2 months it took to get the credits fixed, maybe someone went back and double checked.

I thought I ordered mine early enough but it appears I missed the boat, so to speak. On a related note it looks like I snagged one of the last Extreme Prejudice of the first batch Intrada had. *****edit**** I got my shipping notice today after I posted this.

This thread brings back memories. I believe this was released the day I met John Williams. A very good day.

This album is all over the place. But having In Liberty’s Shadow makes up for the faults of this release. Kudo’s to Edelman for going in a recording some of the material. Maybe someday down the line they can find the proper elements and do it right.

I’m pretty sure that “flood” wasn’t only referring to John Williams. There’s been plenty of spectacular releases so far and we still have 4-1/2 months to go in 2021. If Hook could be released right now, it would.

Yay, they separated the cues!

Unfortunately I can only find 45 second sound samples of the beginning of the track, but it’s the same, content wise, at least at the beginning. I was satisfied with the VS Club release, so between the two I have enough music.

Yeah, I agree, there's not a wasted note within the score. From start to finish its all fantastic. And Jaws 2 is pretty damn good as well, it doesn't retread on the first film. Williams found a new direction to go in and it works very well.
