  1. Here's a fun QQ: can anyone identity all the various music cues in the full trailer for ST:TMP? I hear some Goldsmith, some Williams? and something from the animated series. Are there any more? Happy listening!
  2. Why can't he wear a t-shirt? Ford was quit in the first film. He's twice as quit, now.
  3. Yes! QUANTUM OF SOLACE is Arnold's best, and classiest work for Bond.
  4. Thanks for that. Any thoughts on the Rockman music?
  5. Don't give up, just yet. Remember, it took 20 years for anything like the complete scores for the STAR WARS OT to be released
  6. A couple of QQs about STAR TREK V: 1/ Whose is the extra face in the deleted Mt. Rushmore scene? 2/ where does the Rockman music come from? It sounds very Rosenman, to me. BENEATH THE POTA, or BATTLE FOR THE POTA, perhaps? Anyone?
  7. Whether we are made from carbon, or silicon - it doesn't matter. We should all be treated with the proper respect.
  8. Thoughts? Just two words: "oh", and "shit".
  9. He did that when he said "yes" to DUNE.
  10. So do I, but they look more than just old. They look worn out, especially Grace Zabriske. They also look scared shitless of something, especially Harry Dean Stanton.
  11. Rachel Weisz can age me any way she wants
  12. Hee-hee. I feel the same way about THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN. It's total tosh, but I love to watch it. Then again, and being me, I bloody-well would! Nick-nack! Tabasco! SPECTRE is a great ride. No more, no less.
  13. Nice, azahid! I always enjoy a Tadlow recording. Try EL CID. You won't regret it.
  14. Last night, I watched an absolute classic film, that is, by chance, celebrating its 40th anniversary, this year. Filmed with a cast of - largely - unknowns, it became a touchstone for a generation, spawned many imitators, and helped to propel at least one its male stars to worldwide fame - a situation which exists to this very day. Its influence is still being felt around the world, and, like many films worthy of attention, it was regarded as a game-changer, in the way that films were made. It's a film about love and loss, triumph, and tragedy, and a belief in oneself, and one's potential. I like it.
  15. Bye, bye Bond, it's been nice knowing you.
