  1. Pretty sure it is, because we saw photos a while ago of him with Ford who wore tracking markers on his face (thus being from shooting that prologue).
  2. Not to mention that the labels need to keep releasing stuff just to keep the lights on.
  3. Some of us over at the Mix'n'Mojo forums are already working on recording music from the game (though a ripping tool is also in the works).
  4. After the trailer to KotCS I was SURE that the jungle chase with the jungle cutter vehicle would be THE "badass" action sequence of that movie, with Indy fighting bad guys on top of it, with one or two of them tumbling into the saw blade. But alas, the vehicle was simply blown up seconds after being introduced.
  5. Give "Planes" a listen then. A much, much better score than you'd expect for a direct-to-DVD Disney movie. The sequel score is basically more of the same, with my main regret being that the main title track wasn't a completely new recording, but instead the original track with a few newly recorded overlays.
  6. To be fair, I'm pretty sure the version I found is a retouched image as well, with the logo painted out. But it's still much better than Intrada's cover. And the clone stamp is so old fashioned, now that there's the healing brush in Photoshop.
  7. Especially frustrating, since there IS material out there to paint out the title (it's still just an upscale, but enough for the size on the booklet).
  8. And I must have listened to that piece from Ep5's finale, posted on Instagram, 10 times in a row now. It would be an utter shame if this season didn't see a soundtrack release.
  9. Episode 5 might be the strongest episode of television I have seen in a long time.
  10. I'm not sure if this fits this thread, but the FM-Towns version of Lucasfilm Games' "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" featured that weird re-recording of the soundtrack, played by a smaller ensemble:
  11. Doesn't "re-use" literally imply that you are re-using music already released? A second volume hardly ever included material from an earlier volume (unless you include a main title track twice).
  12. It's now available on Qobuz, 7Digital, and probably all the other services as well. https://www.qobuz.com/us-en/album/star-wars-knights-of-the-old-republic-ii-the-sith-lords-mark-griskey/oij2t2f86xqab https://us.7digital.com/artist/mark-griskey/release/star-wars-knights-of-the-old-republic-ii-–-the-sith-lords-original-video-game-soundtrack-21896993
  13. So, I guess the whole Jeremy Soule situation rules out a release of the first game's soundtrack.
  14. I think that was related to "The Old Republic", where the composers had to churn out hours and hours of music under too tight deadlines.
  15. Woah, if the KoTOR scores should really get official releases, that would close some kind of circle for me. You must know, in the early 2000s I ran a website called "LucasArts Soundtracks", which is by now long abandoned. You can still find snapshots of it HERE, but when LucasArts contacted me to take down all Star Wars and Indy related downloads (they were fine with me keeping their own IPs' music available), I at least added ripping and naming guides for the two KoTOR games. (KoTOR here and KoTOR II here). I've used gameplay videos of the games to come up with proper track titles (plus the music player included in KoTOR II provided some more names), and I've seen my exact track listings used in several uploads of the soundtracks over the years. I'm proud to say that I'm also partially responsible for the second game to get a high quality music patch, because I pestered Mark Griskey long enough until he gauged interest for it and shortly after a patch got released.
  16. I don't want it to be feature-length... I want a multi-part documentary along the lines of "Get Back", with each episode focusing on a different decade of his career.
  17. I'm not sure if that is true. At least I know for a fact that before the Disney merger even LucasArts had to license Star Wars music to be used in their games. Of course this doesn't change the fact that it wouldn't have broken their bank to license more of his themes.
  18. I'll take near-complete per-episode digital releases over an incomplete 2-disc physical release any day.
  19. When they even use it in the trailer, I'm certain he will(ow).
  20. I'm much more curious why DVDs never went mainstream for music as well. You could easily store more music in higher quality and have fewer needs for multi-disc releases.
  21. Natalie Holt confirmed: https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2022/04/obi-wan-kenobi-composer-natalie-holt-john-williams
  22. https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/movies/story/2022-03-30/bruce-willis-aphasia-memory-loss-cognitive-disorder Looks like his small roles in bad movies were actually due to him being unable to work properly anymore.
  23. To be fair, the LOTR films were made right at the start of easily available internet and the beginning of social media. Fandom was much more accessible (and accepted) at that point.
  24. So it looks like Train Heist was really only omitted from the first album, to keep it below 70 minutes. Here's hoping it means that CD releases are actually planned for these.
