Waller-Bridge is firmly in daughter territory, not granddaughter, with Ford being 43 years older than her, to be a granddaughter would require him to have had a child as a teenager and then that child to have had Waller-Bridge by their mid-20s. I'd rather have both! But I know I like Adventures of Mutt more than pretty much anyone else on the board. Anyway, I'm about to pop in the DVD now.

I was listening to the Crystal Skull OST this morning and remembered that one or two people were bad-mouthing "Adventures of Mutt" on this thread. They couldn't be more wrong! It's easily among my favorite new Williams themes post-2005. Fizzy, hyperactive fun. It's just a delight from beginning to end.

"The Adventures of Mutt" is like 20 seconds longer than the OST track, right? A lot can happen in 20 seconds with such frenetic music. I really can't believe there are two different arrangements of "With Malice Toward None" instead of having a second selection from Lincoln be "The People's House" (my favorite concert piece from that score). They really should have just done all three concert pieces (including "Getting Out the Vote")! Anyway, I'm guessing by the lengths of the two tracks that track 4 is the one based around the solo trumpet and track 16 is the arrangement that spotlights the string section.

I love all the new themes in there, but I see what you're saying. "Adventures of Mutt" is fantastic.

This would be so great, a Jungle Chase that actually includes the Mutt material. I don't know why my expectations are so low that I don't think there will be any new concert arrangements for this. At least I'll be pleasantly surprised when it's anything above the bare minimum!

I really hope this means the new BFG concert suite gets a really nice recording! I'm so excited if a "Spielberg/Williams Collaboration Vol. 3" happens!
