Marian Schedenig 8,212
To me the benefits of a Facebook account it not worth the hassles of maintaining it properly or the risk of having it hacked (with potentially disastrous consequences). Not to mention the govt. is now spying on you There's plenty of public old school message boards online to discuss your favorite hobbies nobody will ever give a shit about what I post here This board is even easier to index than Facebook. With Facebook, they need access to their internal databases (or a privileged account), and as we know they get that. But with JWFan and other publicly readable message boards, they don't need any kind of special access at all.

King Mark 3,631
To sum it up:-No Social Networks accounts-No banking online except for a special, separate bank account with minimum balance to cover ebay and other purchases.-Use only Paypal for purchases and avoid giving card number directly to websites-No wireless router as long as I can avoid it-General web surfing precautions had me avoid viruses and malware for years (I can't believe the shit I find on my parents ans sister's computers when I run Malwarebytes)

#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
When I was in the US i saw people paying with credit cards in restaurants and bars. You give the waiter your card and he goes "some where" for a few minutes and brings it back.I did that a few times and found it far more unnerving then paying online. Jay 37,378
I pay for everythign with my credit card. I get free airline miles for doing so, so why not? When the bill comes every month I pay it in full, so it's not like I'm in any kind of debt or anything (my mortgage is my only "debt")One time my credit card number got compromised somehow. As soon as whoever got it used it, I got a call from my CC company, I told them i didn't authorize that charge, and they cancelled the card and sent me one with a new number. No problem at all, easy fix.

My card is also a credit building one, so I don't get charged interest every month as long as you pay the $15 minimum. I never pay it off entirely so I can build up my credit score. Quintus 5,399
Your constant negativity and outward embarrassment of hardcore porn really betrays your apparent inner obsession with it, KM. You seem to worry so much about it, worried that people judge yourself and others who view it to be "perverted", when I believe the reality is nothing like your perception at all. I don't know about your country, but in my own, pornography is not widely frowned upon or considered unacceptable and debauched. It's almost the opposite in fact. Porn now sits on the cusp of adult mainstream entertainment, no longer hidden from view under the counter of the dirty video rental salesman. Porn isn't a dirty word anymore amongst adults and neither should it be. Relax dude.
