HPFAN_2 0
Futurama sucks, it's not funny, it's boring. It's just the Simpsons in a different century.

StrongBad992648 0
I sincerely hope it isn't FOX that it's going back to. I'm really sick and tired of that damn network. They treat great shows like garbage...realise that someone f**ked up, and then buy it right back when it does well on other networks. It would be great if they aired the new ones exclusively on Cartoon Network. What a great station.

StrongBad992648 0
Sure! But I don't think a music forum about our favorite composers is the best place to talk about my baseball playing...or hiking. Docteur Qui 1,544
Dear God yes! I can't believe it! Every time I discover a half-decent show it seems to go straight to the woodshed for axing - first Futurama, then Angel and Alias (I didn't even get to see Firefly). I'm so glad they're returning. I found the series a refreshing change from the ridiculous new Simpsons episodes and Family Guy (never was a fan). Now let's hope they don't screw up by over-saturating us with Zoidberg and Bender, even though they are the best characters. I'm glad it's not straight to DVD movies as originally announced too, this is much better.John- who enjoys Futurama more than just about any era Simpsons
Mr. Breathmask 555
YES!!!This is great. I'm sure this is tied in to the great DVD sales and the succes of bringing back Family Guy.I'm very happy the show is coming back. It's much better than The Simpsons has been for the last few years.EDIT: Ah, crap no!I'm getting different bits of info that say this news may not be thecase. There IS something up Futurama project wise but but it might be theDVD's still. It's hard to keep up with things--but I'll try to do better.Sorry,BillyHello new folks!I want you to know that I heard from conflicting sources about the Futuramanews.I was set straight for now that it is NOT new TV episodes but theoriginal plan of making a few feature-length DVD's.Don't give up yet.I hadunsubstantiated info but there is a DVD project on the way.BillyFrom here (halfway down) and here.
