  1. "Of all the film composers I know, Jerry’s music had the greatest range. He had an uncommon ability to understand a technique and style and then apply it in his own work in a way that seemed invisible to the film and story. John Williams referred to him as a “musical chameleon”. In addition, Jerry had a highly developed melodic gift, which he often sublimated -- as he did his entire technique -- to the needs of the film. There were very few films he worked on that did not benefit by his score." Bruce Broughton

  3. What a tear-inducing In Memoriam segment: JG's pretty well represented, LOL.
  4. Also includes John Williams Stars: Episode I The Phantom Menace clips Pretty neat!!!
  5. Explorers The Blue Max Night Crossing Soaring The Rocketeer E.T. Obviously I'm in a spelunking mode.
  6. Last movie i saw him in was Captain America; The Winter Soldier.
  7. My favorite love theme that Maestro JG ever wrote. IMO it's on par with JW's Love Theme from Superman.
  8. I spy Jerry Goldsmith beside Herbie and Hank Mancini behind them.
  9. According to one Youtube poster I've read when I was listening to this the other day, it seems like Bruce Broughton was tasked to re-arrange this piece for the new ride.
