Alita: Battle Angel

Copy arrived today, it sounds beautiful.

Yeah, I've seen those. The GKIDS versions have a somewhat darker looking transfer, which is apparently the same transfer as the Japanese version of the Miyazaki Collection released in 2014. The Disney version(s) used the 2010 Japanese Blu-ray transfer which was pretty bright comparatively. I will probably end up picking up some or all of the new sets, provided I can afford it. They were recently on sale for fairly cheap, but I didn't snatch them up in time.

Also, it's just limited preview footage.

I'm honestly happy for those who've been waiting for this, given how impactful the score was for quite a few members of the board, and obviously given the weight of losing Horner recently it makes it that much more meaningful, but I've never been a fan of this one. Nice little melody, though.

I'm the opposite. When I saw a YouTube ad recently, I thought his hair was distractingly crazy.

The look is neat. I'm interested to see what her disposition and character will be like and how it compliments her appearance.

I actually look forward to a series. It would be interesting to see it function in that type of format and see what kinds of stories manifest within a 12 episode framework. Could be interesting.
