Gruesome Son of a Bitch 6,488
As we know, this plays at Universal Islands of Adventure and features previously unreleased music from The Lost World. Around 3:30 or so there is a piece I'm unfamiliar with... Will
Holko 9,526
Isolated percussion track from (or new recording inspired by) The Hunt?

Really cool if so! Am I the only person who would have enjoyed percussion only versions of The Lost World as bonus tracks?

I wish this was included in the recent Lost World release. I love any and all JW percussion writing. As an aside, I wonder how much money JW makes from his music being used in amusement parks alone? Incanus 5,715
Yup sounds like the percussion from The Hunt. Which sounds very cool on its own!

Disco Stu 15,495
So we can no longer consider the LLL set definitive? Will
crumbs 14,317
This sounds fucking awesome in isolated form! Why didn't they include this on the TLW set as a Percussion Only extra, if they were indeed recorded in isolated form!? Very similar things have been done on other releases Damn, just goes to show the depth of orchestration Williams pours into every track. Even one section of the orchestra playing on their own sounds deliciously satisfying. Will
Jay 37,369
We've known forever that Universal Islands of Adventure played bits of music from TLW that weren't on the OST, including the percussion-only version of The Hunt. it was first brought to our attention by BrachioIngen aka GoodMusician , who recorded it all in the park one day, and always been included it in his custom complete edits of the score you can find online everywhere Here are some threads where you can read about it: http://www.jwfan.com/forums/index.php?/topic/10273-complete-tlw-soundtrack/ http://www.jwfan.com/forums/index.php?/topic/8521-the-complete-jurassic-park-score/&do=findComment&comment=271813 http://www.jwfan.com/forums/index.php?/topic/13836-need-some-help-with-jurassic-park/&do=findComment&comment=370535 http://www.jwfan.com/forums/index.php?/topic/19455-complete-cue-list-the-lost-world-jurassic-park/&do=findComment&comment=673222
