The post of yours that I was quoting was about "love"...? For your convenience, here are your words again, verbatim: "But that's just the point of this thread, isn't it? Anybody can say they love these releases, but if they so rarely listen to them, how much can they actually love them?"

I'm baffled.

See the OP. The poll is explained in the OP, and it's not about whether you love these scores or not.

If your comment doesn't apply to the poll itself, I already told you, no argument there. I agree with you.

I thought you were jumping in on the discussion I was having with RC, who wasn't making sense.

Got it. The thread is about how much you love these scores, and the poll isn't about how much you love these scores. You think you have to enjoy something frequently to love it, and you agree that you don't have to enjoy something frequently to love it. And although my post quoted the exact implication I was responding to, you thought I was inserting myself into another conversation altogether.

I feel much better now, glad we could clear that up.

He's a misunderstood artist, Joe, please leave him away with your petty thing called "logic".

These all come up on my iPod shuffle while I’m commuting to work.

However I do make an effort to listen to cues from TLW at least once a week.

There’s not one wasted note in that score.

I appreciate Williams’ efforts in creating the original albums but these expanded releases are so much better it’s not even worth debating.

That's a phrase that sounds good, but what does it actually mean? A wasted note.

And which JW score has a wasted note or notes?

There's too many notes.

This made me chuckle. I read somewhere that the percussionists hired for TLW were about to give up in frustration,  because the orchestration of some of these pieces (I'm thinking "Rescuing Sarah" and "The Hunt" especially) was so complex and such a challenge, they always got something wrong and JW made them do it over and over and over again....

So yeah, there are a LOT of notes!

Too bad, none of the percussion cues get ever played at concerts. TLW is a unique experiment that has never occured in that form before, so it's quite logical that one does not simply enter the stage and play Rescuing Sarah.
