BLUMENKOHL 1,110 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Where is Mark Olivarez? One of the few sane and wise people around here has vanished... 'Nuff said.
hornist 1,261 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 I've been wondering the same thing , I hope he's ok.He must have been out for month or something?Hornist - another sane and wise poster
John Crichton 4 Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Mark is just fine. He was on vaction for 2 weeks around Labor Day. He's decided to take a break from posting for a while.John- who thinks is the second or third "official" missing members thread ^_^
Red 75 Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 I've also been wondering where he's been. We need some senior member wisdom in the board right now.Although, he hasn't really missed much.
Jill Sandwich 11,166 Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Listening to his Godzilla CDs.
Hitch 60 Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 I'll be in Nerja, Spain for a week at the end of the month mountain climbing. I don't think I'll be missed. Ok, you can stop crying now. I'll be back so don't worry.Hitch, who will be making the Sierra Nevada's quake in 10 days time. You have been warned.
Ray Barnsbury 8 Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Regarding other missing members, Justin hasn't posted since April, tpigeon since the beginning of January, and Ren since last December. Are these people moving on with their lives or something?Ray Barnsbury - who vaguely wonders what that's like
Red 75 Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Ted mysteriously vanished after the forum change. Whatever the reason, he should come back. He was a smart guy.
John Crichton 4 Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I think Justin said something about being in Germany for the summer with the Air Force ROTC or whichever program he's been involved in (sorry, Justin, if I got that wrong). But he had been posting sparsely for a while.I've been wondering where Ted's been too, he was around a lot for a while there.
Ray Barnsbury 8 Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Yes, Ted was always well-spoken with interesting posts, and a lot less abrasive than some of the people who have popped up more recently.Ray Barnsbury

tpigeon 3 Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I was gone, but not far. I have been keeping up the message boards of late, especially regarding recent news about Indy 4. Most of my time has been spent online at a new blog/site about cinema that I started in January, which I guess coincides with my disappearance from posting here. It's nice to know I'm remembered though. I never thought I made much of an impression here. I can't believe that "What is the Last Film You Watched" thread is still alive. Part of me wants to jump back into it. Anyway, feel free to check out the site. I posted a couple entries on film scoring in June, if I recall. Thanks for the nice remarks.Ted
John Crichton 4 Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 ...And you are? I'd love to check out your new site, Ted. Link?

pixie_twinkle 60 Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 No one noticed when I didn't post here for a month or so. Am I really that boring? No, don't answer that!
John Crichton 4 Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 I hardly noticed you posting now! Seriously, we miss you in the Who thread, it's pretty much been just me and Greg having a 1 on 1 conversation.
Docteur Qui 1,581 Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Where's Sturgis, Ray? I haven't seen much of him lately either!

Seriously, we miss you in the Who thread, it's pretty much been just me and Greg having a 1 on 1 conversation.Trouble was I was so behind on getting the season 3 episodes. By the time I finally got hold of them they were old news to you two! Still, I should dig that thread up again. No Dr Who season in 2009 indeed!!!
Ray Barnsbury 8 Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Where's Sturgis, Ray? I haven't seen much of him lately either! He's alive and well, just busy with school and the various activities that go along with being full of all the thrills youth has to offer (aka, marching band). I tell him he should come back now and then, so we'll see! I'm sure he'll be glad to know he was inquired about.Ray Barnsbury

Jill Sandwich 11,166 Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Stefancos, JoeinAr and IndySolo all seemed to have disappeared.
AI 0 Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Joe, you used to wind me up bigtime man. I couldn't stand ya! (note to people who have a problem with Joe, leave it alone. Joe is awesome, once you spend the 2 or 3 years to actually get him)I came to the realization that it's just not worth putting negative energy into it. You are you, as me is me. Let us dance through the tulips to celibrate.
hornist 1,261 Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Stefancos, JoeinAr and IndySolo all seemed to have disappeared.I think that's only a positive thing , they were all anaemic/colourless posters.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 I used to think Joe was a redneck turd.Now I love him, even though he's still a redneck turd.
