I've been wondering the same thing , I hope he's ok.

He must have been out for month or something?

Hornist - another sane and wise poster

Mark is just fine. He was on vaction for 2 weeks around Labor Day. He's decided to take a break from posting for a while.

John- who thinks is the second or third "official" missing members thread ^_^

I've also been wondering where he's been. We need some senior member wisdom in the board right now.

Although, he hasn't really missed much.

I'll be in Nerja, Spain for a week at the end of the month mountain climbing. I don't think I'll be missed. Ok, you can stop crying now. I'll be back so don't worry.

Hitch, who will be making the Sierra Nevada's quake in 10 days time. You have been warned.

Regarding other missing members, Justin hasn't posted since April, tpigeon since the beginning of January, and Ren since last December. Are these people moving on with their lives or something?

Ray Barnsbury - who vaguely wonders what that's like

Ted mysteriously vanished after the forum change. Whatever the reason, he should come back. He was a smart guy.

I think Justin said something about being in Germany for the summer with the Air Force ROTC or whichever program he's been involved in (sorry, Justin, if I got that wrong). But he had been posting sparsely for a while.

I've been wondering where Ted's been too, he was around a lot for a while there.

Yes, Ted was always well-spoken with interesting posts, and a lot less abrasive than some of the people who have popped up more recently.

I was gone, but not far. I have been keeping up the message boards of late, especially regarding recent news about Indy 4. Most of my time has been spent online at a new blog/site about cinema that I started in January, which I guess coincides with my disappearance from posting here. It's nice to know I'm remembered though. I never thought I made much of an impression here. I can't believe that "What is the Last Film You Watched" thread is still alive. Part of me wants to jump back into it. Anyway, feel free to check out the site. I posted a couple entries on film scoring in June, if I recall. Thanks for the nice remarks.

You can thank Morlock for the film thread.

Good to know that you're still here sometimes, even if you don't post.

I hardly noticed you posting now!

Seriously, we miss you in the Who thread, it's pretty much been just me and Greg having a 1 on 1 conversation.

Trouble was I was so behind on getting the season 3 episodes. By the time I finally got hold of them they were old news to you two! Still, I should dig that thread up again. No Dr Who season in 2009 indeed!!!

Where's Sturgis, Ray? I haven't seen much of him lately either!

He's alive and well, just busy with school and the various activities that go along with being full of all the thrills youth has to offer (aka, marching band). I tell him he should come back now and then, so we'll see! I'm sure he'll be glad to know he was inquired about.

just thought you guys would like to know

Mark is in jail for illegally downloading music, and video material.

His addiction to Blues Clues, Clifford and Dora has finally caught up with him, and they are making an example of him.

He's being forced to dress like a smurf as punishment, he's now the bitch of some twinky winking in prison, and you know what happens when you mix purple and blue....

I rather know that the memory of me will fade away, that to know that I might be remembered. That too a heavy burden to carry... to be remembered.

remembering someone isn't a burden, its a privilige.

I think what Joe said is profound.

Noone will remember AI, except in a negative way.

That's me. AI.

you're so much more likable and you're actually a terrific poster, is that a negative, or will you take it as one.

Joe, you used to wind me up bigtime man. I couldn't stand ya! (note to people who have a problem with Joe, leave it alone. Joe is awesome, once you spend the 2 or 3 years to actually get him)

I came to the realization that it's just not worth putting negative energy into it.

You are you, as me is me. Let us dance through the tulips to celibrate.

Stefancos, JoeinAr and IndySolo all seemed to have disappeared.

I think that's only a positive thing , they were all anaemic/colourless posters. :P
