Now I get to force my GF to watch them all all over again! :)

Too bad it's just a "best of" collection of documentaries and special features instead of including ALL the documentaries and special features ever made. Oh well.

No... But there'll be isolated scores. Disappointing.

I guess that they'll include deleted scenes.
"I get asked all the time, 'What happens after Return of the Jedi?,' and there really is no answer for that. The movies were the story of Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker, and when Luke saves the galaxy and redeems his father, that's where that story ends."

He should replace the bad guys in Raiders with moon men, so it's less insulting.

I think they should move the entire story of TOD someplace else and change Indian characters into some CG monsters.

Karol
From a storytelling point of view, from a directing point of view, there is one thing I associate with what he does, which is calm. There is such an inherent calm and inherent trust of the one powerful image, that he makes me embarrassed with my own work, in terms of how many different shots, how many different sound effects, how many different things we’ll throw at an audience to make an impression. But with Kubrick, there is such a great trust of the one correct image to calmly explain something to audience. There can be some slowness to the editing. There’s nothing frenetic about it. It’s very simple. There’s a trust in simple storytelling and simple image making that actually takes massive confidence to try and emulate. - Christopher Nolan

I don't know why people think there will be isolated scores with these movies. No movies produced by Lucasfilm has ever had isolated scores for any type of release.

We can only hope that in a few years Lucasfilm lets La-La Land or Intrada release the complete versions for ROTLA, TOD and TLC.

I don't blame you. I've only replaced a few of my DVDs - the leap in image quality can very drastically, and I'm very happy with my DVDs of many films.

I didn't buy the Jurassic blu-box for example. I think the DVD looks great.

No. My laptop includes a BR drive but I don't use it because I have no plans to burn my laptop out by plugging it to my TV to watch movies. That's what Netflix is for. I also don't own any BR discs, so I effectively don't even remember that the laptop has it.

I made my peace with it early last year, but that was later undone by a subsequent tv broadcast. It's fucking horrible. I used to say War of the Worlds is Spielberg worst movie, but not anymore.

Spielberg and Lucas should be put on trial for what they did.
