I wanted to ask, where I can find a complete filmography of Jerry Goldsmith, to copy and paste in a word file?
I'm starting to listen to his complete discography and I want to check in my list what I have, what I have listened etc.
Unfortunately the list from imdb is not pasted well. I come up with 74 pages with all the photos and stuff.
edit: Oh, just found this:
Is it comprehensive enough?

I was wondering, is this the first time an ost (I mean not an expansion) is limited?

After watching "Tenet" today, a strange coincidence occurred – an email arrived, notifying me that my Indiana Jones 5 Limited Edition OST on CD will arrive next week.
? I thought you hadn't bought it.

Well, mediocre I'd say and a bit boring. I managed to finish it in 3-4 takes.
If you ask me, it didn't deserve the Oscar for best picture that year.
The Giant and The Ten Commandments, were much better films.
But, given the subject matter, I don't know how it could be better.

The Disney online store has a link for “Product Ideas & Feedback“.

It probably won’t help but it sure can’t hurt to leave a message.
I sent this:
If anyone else wants to do it, I guess there’s strength in numbers.
Remember to be polite.
Done!

Decades after his classic Western days, Goldsmith returned once more and filtered the genre through his streamlined post-Rekall style. It's filled with odd-metres, a rousing theme, some hard pounding action, plus guitar for flavour. Lots of fun!
Just listened to the complete score too!
Yeah, it was great.
One of these days I should start listening to every Jerry Goldsmith soundtrack there is released.
I just find it a bit difficult because the man has written so many scores. Much more than Williams if I'm not mistaken.

Unknown interesting score by Mancini.
The second half of this album plays like source cues, as it's usual with Mancini.

Wow! A not so favorable review of the music I just read:

I was wondering:
How much are you willing to pay to ebay scalpers?
I would perhaps pay 30 euros (without shipping that is).
But I guess the cost will be way up!

To this day, I'm not sure if Tenet even used a real orchestra
You know, I can't understand who listens to such music. Maybe it does wonders in the film, I don't know, but I don't see it being capable of standing on its own, like say the neo-romantic style. Or even the orchestral atonal style.
Is it just me?

How can anyone listen to this score? I don't understand.

Have we said before that Hisaishi's soundtrack will be released on August 9?
I just found out about this.
My most anticipated soundtrack of these last years (even more than Williams's Indy 5)

Enter The Dragon 4K restoration is coming too
I have never seen a Bruce Lee film.
Although I do like my occasional Jean Claude Van Damme movies, I don't know, karate films seem silly to me. Or am I wrong and I am missing some masterpieces?

Yea, but is that a movie worth watching over and over again?
Well, i love the whole atmosphere and the music. If you ask me, I'd say yes. Isn't that the same with soundtracks? You know how the music is going, yet you listen multiple times if you like it.

I don't know if you have read it or not, but The Others is coming in 4k from Criterion!

Love it. So, so underrated... as is the film.
I'm just listening now too to the complete score.
Very good theme, and of course excellent writing in general by Goldsmith.
I haven't understood one thing though about this movie:
When we see the Shadow, it's another actor playing him and not Alec Baldwin, right?
Because he doesn't look alike.
edit: Hmmm, I just read this trivia:
QuoteWith the face makeup on as The Shadow, Lamont Cranston looks very similar to Alec Baldwin's brother, Billy
And it's true. I was thinking of Billy Baldwin too.
Did you get the Dial of Destiny soundtrack on the CD format before it sold out?

Yes, of course. I meant the cd.
