They are all the same. But once a year Dave and I eat at a Brazilian steakhouse, the meal is essentially the same but doing it every year or every other year is always a wonderful experience, that's how I feel about John wicks.

Tv quality independent film. Makes a decent social statement. Wrecks a lot of police cars almost as many as the blues brothers

Jerry never beat John head to head. And I am biased but I don't think he ever should have. Jaws has wonderfully stood the test of time It also captured the imagination. For a few years it did damage to sharks but now its legacy has done more to educate and protect sharks. And Jaws does something remarkable. Its a time capsule for 1975. Best of all Jaws never teases us with the theme..

Oppenheimer intrigues me. Sakharov intrigues me more. An Oppenheimer film about Trinity is wonderful for a bomb nut like me. But a Sakharov film about Tsar Bomba is better. Ironic both men despise their creations

Any time. I am revisiting the scores in preparation for rating John's fine works. But Jaws deserves praise beyond praise.

Nearly 48 years ago the film Jaws premiered becoming the first true summer blockbuster. The lines at the boxoffice were longer than had ever been seen to that point. Everytime a Jaws commercial came on this 14 year old chubby kid would runny from whatever point in the house he was to stand in front of the tv, not for the visuals but the music. Before the film had actually opened in Little Rock I had purchased the soundtrack at Walmart. I still have that 33 buried away. I have played it hundreds (high) of times. I have many of the later releases. They offer excellent additional music but they never get the play time that of the original, and imho perfect original. Any what are your feelings. Thousands of films and scores have come and gone including many Williams scores and Jaws may have never connected for you. So tell us your thoughts.

Look back in 1982 I conducted a similar poll. I said I would wait for the release of E.T. the Extraterrestrial. Folks said and I quote " I seriously doubt this score for E.T. will rival ESB or Raiders of the Lost Ark." John has proven the skeptics wrong before.

I want to give John his due for the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny The maestro has put significant time and effort into this score. and we as fans need time to absorb and process his latest score. In my mind its the right thing to do. In august we can begin the discussion. The rules will.be simple. Each member will post his top 10 scores As to the scores I will only accept a single score not a series i expect weird results this time around.

Any true film score fan was blown away.

Saturday I was paying for Breakfast and a movie, so I let David drive. No innuendo.. The screw scene in CE3K is scary as hell. Signs can be cinsidered a horror movie. It has many scares and lots of psychological terrors.

I always drive, unless I am paying.
