I've just listened to PoA's „Remembering Mother“ (3m10) and checked the score, realizing John Williams wrote two versions for this cue. In fact, the track on the LLL-release and used in the film is labeled „alternate“ in the score. I wonder if the „first“ version has been recorded. @Jay? I don't fancy the concert suites… the OST album is okish. But I listened to the recording sessions the other day and the action scenes are terrific, better than the ST, IMHO.

Interesting, thanks! I have to say TPM is a very special score for me. I was 12 when the movie came out and it was my third John Williams CD after JP and TLW (I started listening to soundtracks after Titanic). I really freaked out over the UE. Took me a while to realize the negative aspects of it.
