    Well if we're at rationalising: The Raddus is the biggest ship the Rebellion/Resistance ever had, twice as long as an Imperial-class Star Destroyer. All it did to the Supremacy (which is shorter than the Executor lengthwise) is split it in half, the resulting wreckage took down some bystander SDs. So it's not exactly a very effective technique.

    Phantasm (1979) I wasn't feelin' this one, the first in this month where I didn't care for any aspect and just skipped through the last half hour. Suspiria it ain't, in any case.

    I'm holding out until 9 to judge the relative shallowness of this deconstruction - as far as we know, Abrams may build on the seeds sown by Johnson and take it much further.

    Certainly looks interesting, especially now, when I've been watching archived newsreels from exactly 100 years ago weekly for 2 months and gotten used to their choppiness.

    It seems disturbing enough not to be featured in my horrorathon. What IS featured is... Suspiria (1977) Now, apart from the slightly underwhelming ending, this is about exactly what I hoped to get out of this month. Colour, style, atmosphere, Jessica Harper, awesome and characteristic score... loved it. I do kinda regret watching the English dub instead of the Italian one, but Harper's voice!

    Yep. As irrelevant and stupid as it is, Phantom Menace is the only prequel I could call filmmaking.

    Why? It doesn't say how big those 2-5 Black Friday sets are. The Nov 13 3CD could still be Azkaban, and the 3rd title could be anything.

    6 wouldn't have been enough for all 3 Potters, anyway, and too much for just 1+2.

    Right, I just checked the DVD and pickups were in July. I remembered them to be a bit earlier.

    At first there were only going to be 2 Hobbit movies, splitting after the Forest River sequence, and most of AUJ was shot with this in mind, the decision to move to 3 films was made sometime in late 2011 or very early 2012, I think.

    Now, I've never tried that, but something tells me it's infinitely simpler to copy and paste 5-6 letters and numbers than to set up a bloody VPN service, maybe even pay for it.

    Actually, from a quick comparison, to my ears the audio quality on TuneIn sounds much better than in the webplayer that opens on ClassicFM's website: https://tunein.com/radio/Classic-FM-1009-s8439/ There's a delay between the two so I can just barely compare the same sections, and the ClassicFM one is more compressed. The presenter woman's "z"s and "s"s are a big giveaway.

    I'll surely be listening, also will try to record the stream. When I first saw Classic FM will broadcast this, I tried listening to it, but was blocked because my IP is not in the UK. If anyone would encounter this problem before the concert: click "I'm in the UK" or something like that which comes up, it'll ask for a postcode, google a random UK postcode and bam, it works. Their main page also has a "Which Hogwarts house would you be in based on your musical taste" quiz. Hint?
