Ii2 reacted to Arpy in Joker (Hildur Guðnadóttir)
Not even, it has five deaths and the most gruesome scenes are very short.
I get the sense many critics targeting the film for its violence are actually aiming at the film's suggestions of violence, or call to violence that isn't there at all. The film makes you think about the character and the world he is situated within and presents this depressing story of mental illness, betrayal and rejection (from society and people in general) and doesn't say anything more than that. It doesn't humanise the villain, it shows us the story behind it and that's that.
It's what I find most interesting about the whole controversy that the people detesting the film are projecting far more onto it than the film projects back.

I got Star Wars Battle Front II as a Birthday gift. Time to make use of my PS4.

The Karajan Bruckners have been re-released once again, with their original covers:
Newly remastered and remixed with supposedly much improved sound (except for those symphonies that were recorded digitally), and with my favourite album cover. I'll have to buy them again.

On this date in 1989, The Bangles were in my hometown, performing a very large free concert to celebrate the opening of a local highway. An overpass almost collapsed.

What can I say? We have similar tastes!

A playlist I created featuring the most rock-oriented tracks in the Bangles catalog. Meant to be played on shuffle, as I did not really arrange the tracks in any way.

Ii2 reacted to crumbs in Harry Potter 7CD Collection - MUSIC discussion
I don't think a single Williams score has personified the director's vision more succinctly than the score for Azkaban, at least in the last several decades. Clummenson comes across as a clueless tit. The concept of strict thematic retention across multiple films might have merit in specific circumstances but it's utterly irrelevant compared to the composer's ultimate responsibility: scoring a film on its own merits.
Were one to apply to same idiotic rationale to The Lost World, you would rate that score 0 stars, simply because it abandoned practically everything the previous score established, entirely at the service of a drastically different movie (just as Azkaban dutifully reinvents the Potter series into a more mature, atmospheric tale than what Columbus established in his two films).

Funny how they pictured Steele just like Steele.

On this day in 1999, The Bangles reunited on stage to perform some Beatles songs at The Hollywood Bowl in front of an orchestra conducted by Sir George Martin.

Rather like, in that pic. She had that kind of Allison vibe about her, Steele did.

Ii2 got a reaction from The Illustrious Jerry in Any others here remember Star Wars before it was first a thing?
Yes. That’s just about how I discovered him. I got curious on who did SW then I discovered it was the same guy who did Jaws, Indiana Jones, Schindler’s List, and the rest!

From their great filmed '86 concert in Pittsburgh. They are all on pretty good form here, especially
Steele who navigates a pretty intricate bass line rather seamlessly with her lead vocal, while having a nice little dynamic with Susanna during the instrumental bridge and at the end.
Really needs to be remastered and re-released.
