  1. I'm surprised that the suite from the reivers, with narrator and orchestra for the signature edition. That would have been interesting for story listeners and symphony lovers
  2. Since there's a suite for the rise of skywalker, which signature edition study should be next? A) Soundings B) tributes (for seiji) C) suite from the fabelmans D) Helena's theme and others from Indiana Jones trilogy
  3. Luckily my composer would never have other musicians write the music for him, that'd be cheating.
  4. I hope someday we get symphonic suite of the fabelmans. The music sounded beautiful
  5. We all know that he did great classical music and even the best film score of all by him. "Mortal". It's like a homage to some of the films of Bernard Herrmann that he did with Brian De Palma and Alfred Hitchcock. When you hear the quote of dies irae on the helicopter cue, it's almost like you are in a nightmare sequence from Vertigo. A lot of people in America would love to hear more of Marcus Paus in the future.
  6. I don't think they're dead, it's just that John's busy with future classical right now. Probably even trying to put the suite of the rise of skywalker in different movements in one full score, especially Obi-Wan's tv theme.
  7. Did I forgot about if Jaws 2 be in the signature edition?
  8. If John Debney is writing the music for the reboot movie, he would probably adapt some themes of Williams and stops at the gags on the traps.
  9. I listen to the jazz music, it was okay. But the score..... ugh. The score played by synthesizers feels like a demo for a video game or temp tracks from John Carpenter movies
  10. It's not like to score manuscripts are getting mailed to HL to get them publish
  11. Kinda hard to look for some from ebay and give it to your composers.
  12. John Debney is writing music for that streaming film I know this is about what John Williams is doing right now, but you can choose what I'm thinking about right now; John Williams is probably/basically.... A) Writing symphony movements for Redlands Symphony B) Writing music for Quentin Tarantino's last film C) Writing for Pixar's Luca D) A concerto for Craig Huxley's Blaster Beam/tribute for the late Emil Richards
  13. Sometimes I always wonder if Ron Jones should ever come back to Fox to give Seth the music he did ever since Star Trek: The Next Generation. Hell, CBS hasn't asked him to come back to write music for Discovery and Picard
  14. Anyone else would like think up some themes that should be in the Signature Edition?
  15. I'd go for the full score only to study, if I was a composer
  16. Well, it's not like Omni Music Publishing can publish John's scores of every movies or TV shows he composed, right?
  17. Sometimes I wished that John would have asked his son, Joseph, to write out some cues for Chamber of Secrets, Attack of The Clones and Catch Me If You Can, you know like Joel Goldsmith did for his dad's work on Star Trek: First Contact, Peter Bernstein on Elmer's score for Wild Wild West, and Andrea Morricone did with his dad on Cinema Paradiso. You know, help him and save some time while writing very BIG pictures to score and additional music for few more Harry Potter movies. I kinda thought of that since I've read that liners note of Jerry Goldsmith's score for Star Trek First Contact
