  1. I now have the DVD too, so i'm gonna see if it's possible to extact to short "Captains Log" cues. Stefancos- who created a tailor made version of the Star Trek 1 boot according to King Mark's specific instructions. (he's royalty, he deserves it )
  2. Oh dear, i'll be on the look out. Is this you? Or is this how i should imagine you? Oh dear? MUST GET STEFANCOS....AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!! Stefancos- Who loves the Towering Inferno score...Who loves the Towering Inferno score...Who loves the Towering Inferno score...Who loves the Towering Inferno score...Who loves the Towering Inferno score..........
  3. You are mad, the grander alternate version is the better version. Stefancos- who thinks KM's mind has gone.
  4. Definately Raiders. It's powerful and evil. Indy 3theme is almost comic :? Stefancos-
  5. I cannot believe no one has mentioned the MOTHER of all action scores!? Rambo: First Blood- Part II Stefancos- who considers that Goldsmith's best PS, also get Masada, Rambo 3, First Blood, Basic Instinct, First Knight, Star Trek: Insurrection and Star Trek: The Motion Picture. (although you will have to look hard to find MY boot in stores)
  6. WHAT!!!...that's a great action cue. Stefancos- confused. :?:
  7. Aren't you referring to the "Palace Theme", i've never known it to be associated to Mola Ram, didn't even think he had a theme. Stefancos- who knows John Takis knows this score better then most mortals.
  8. You forgot the best track of the lot, A Busy Man, the way the Klingon theme is interwoven in the "God" Theme is just brilliant. Also, this score contains my favorite performances of the Main title theme. as you said, it's no Star Trek TMP, but it's still a damn great score. Stefancos- who's never listened to track 10
  9. I agree with JoeinAr's clone about this, leave the original scores alone, enough is enough. Stefancos- who thinks Lucas would just track music from TESB into Star Wars (ANH) anyway.
  10. Good post, but one mistake. Music from TESB was only used during the Falcon's aproach of the Death Stars main reactor near the end of the film, that fragment of music is precisely 20 seconds long. Stefancos- who deliberatly timed this.
  11. Actually, you do it like this: http://filmforce.ign.com/harrypotter/ Stefancos- who knows how to use the LINK function.
  12. Just wondering, Melange, what do you think about THUNDERHEART? Stefancos- who thinks this score is a forgotten masterpiece.
  13. I agree with Morn, agreeing with Ocelot. Ross, with all due respect, if you think Tie Fighter Attack from Star Wars and Sail Barge Assault from Return Of The Jedi are the same, you need to get your ears checked. Stefancos- who thought the use of Yoda's theme in the conveyor belt scene was annoying, since it spoiled the surprise of Yoda's big scene in the end of the film.
  14. Well, wasn't there both a German and Japanese version, both with the same music, but different covers? And for 11 Euro's, you should have definatly picked it up, even if you already had it. Stefancos- who has 2 copies of the expanded Raiders, 2 copies of The Last Crusade, 3 copies old the old E.T. release 2 of the 1996 expanded release, 2 copies of the SE ROTJ and 2 copies of The Lost World.
  15. Ni it's not, you can easily do without scores like Lost In Space and Reivers. I'm not sure The Cowboys belongs to "basics" either. And scores like The poseidon adventure and The Towering inferno are hard to obtain, so i'd count them out. Besides, they are not that good. Stefancos- who knows JoeinAr is turning in his grave.
  16. Chris, sell your toy Star Wars puppets and then you can bring Massy to the US. Stefancos- who had an original Yoda, but sold it or trew it away years ago.
  17. GEEKS!!! Stefancos- who likes to insult his 2 nerdy Star Wars geek friends.
  18. JUSTIN!!! Stefancos- who knows Justin is a 14 year old, hormone infested "youth".
  19. Ridiculous, neither Hammil nor Ford were "leading men" when they made Star Wars, were they miscast? McGregor is great, and he is right for the part, but he's still given to little to do. Stefancos- a definate leading man.
  20. Anyone of you yankees care about the fact that the US team beat the Portugese with 3- 1? Stefancos-
  21. I thought you warmed up to AOTC? Stefancos- who notices that Joe likes the film, but not the score, while his "clone" Indysolo likes the score but not the film.
  22. Ross, clearly you do not understand the difference between NEW musical cues that use themes from earlier films, and music thast was composed and recorded for one film, and re-used in another, in a severely mutilated form.. ROTJ only has 20 seconds of music from another film (TESB), nothing compared to the travesty of AOTC. Stefancos- who likes Sail Barge Assault.
  23. Derivative trite, a thinly concealed reworking of the Hook score, John Williams final descent into mediocrity, a complete and utter rip-off of everything James Horner ever wrote? Offcourse i would not call it that, but others might. Stefancos- feeling playfull.
  24. Who cares how much it costs? This is every filmscore fans wet dream. Stefancos- who will have to chance his sheets tomorrow morning.
