Thats especially egregious considering the songs are totally forgettable METROPOLIS had the same ratio ( but longer cues) - and far better songs! Jay 37,373 Posted June 14, 2022 Share Posted June 14, 2022 No, it means Universal Picture owned the whole score themselves (since the 2 tracks on the OST LP we re-recordings), so they can release the score themselves on their own label (Back Lot Records) Any scores co-licensed from a film studio (that owns the unreleased music) and a music label (that owns the OST music and the mechanical rights) continues to be unavailable to go up for digital sale except under special circumstances (like BTTF 1 & 2 all those years ago) Chewy and Yavar Moradi 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
