I have Adventures of Robin Hood, and whenever Captain Blood is released, I'll pick it up immediately. So much for old movies that are not by Kubrick or Hitchcock (though I still need much more Hitchcock).

Very nice list, Peio. Plenty of stuff in there I want to get myself.

Latest addition (today): American History X for 12 euros.

Nobody's got any good old movies that aren't exceptionally popular.  None of the forgotten classics like Harvey or The Apartment or High Noon.  If there's anything older than 2001: a space odyssey, it's because it was directed by Hitchcock or Kubrick.

Yeah, whatever.

THE SPIRAL STAIRCASE

METROPOLIS

SAMURAI

47 RONIN

ONIBABA

THE THREE TREASURES

DRUNKEN ANGEL

STRAY DOG

Thanks Marian. I still gotta add a lot of titles (want to complete my Lean, Ford and Truffaut collection).

Added today: Glory (which surprisingly has an audio track with Horner's wonderful music! :))

I couldn't list my DVD collection... Frankly (and I am not bragging here) it would take too long...

Some personal highlights though

M*A*S*H seasons 1 through 5 (one of the best TV shows ever)

ST: TNG Seasons 1 through 4, and 7 (missed 5 and 6, when cash is a little better, I will get them on Amazon)

Treasure of the Sierra Madre (great Christmas gift)

My Favorite Year (Peter O'Toole at his BEST, robbed by the Oscars)

Four of the "Lord Peter Wimsey" Box sets. Some of the finest British television... Still two more to get (I think)

Just got at Wal-Mart last night

Altered States, The Mosquito Coast, The Truth About Cats and Dogs and I Was A Male War Bride all for the bargain price of $6.88 each ;)

I saw the Mosquito Coast in the theatre back in 1986 and have had the movie on my wish list for a while.

It's much easier to take a picture of it and let others figure out what you have. ;)

I can't, they should be a lot of pictures, as my collection is widespread throughout my room.

as I said over at Spielbergfilms.com, how do some of you afford all these.

Do you have car notes, house notes, utility bills,

I wonder.

Actually, I inherited some money from an Aunt last year and went on a bit of a spree...

Okay, it'll take four pictures though...

Peio, lots of great titles in your list. But what is Men in Black doing in your collection? Was it a present? Can't you get rid of it? Why don't you send it to "Home of worst Sci-Fi flicks ever"? They'll love having another copy.

So, here's a pic of my collection (if you can call it that).

Black Adder! I love that series. I have the DVD's myself.

Justin -Who notices the Sorcerer's Stone spine is diffrent.

Yes, and it actually has the Dutch title on it: Harry Potter en de Steen der Wijzen, just like the second film: Harry Potter en de Geheime Kamer. Titles in the film are English, though.

And inexplicably, the theatrical cut of FotR has French end credits! Gits.

Mind you, the Blackadder series is actually my dad's, but everything is stored on the same shelve. I'm rewatching them now. Just watched ep. 4 yesterday, and I'll watch ep. 5 later today. :P

That's because Marc's is Philosopher's Stone. :P Though actually, it also looks different from my (Canadian) PS.

Nice collection, Morlock. Although I didn't recognized a few titles like A Mighty Wind and such. How about your zone 2 DVDs? Why don't you list them?

I don't think those movies have anything in common. Signs is not about Aliens. And I never cared about what was out there, or about visiters from outer space. CE3K never got to me. I think Signs is a great movie. And I don't really like Shyamalan- I despise the Sixth Sense, but Signs was great. And even though I know what happens, The Village looks very good.

Does that not clearly say "VIIII"? That was Justin's joke. No harm was meant by it. It's just funny.
