No and no.

Hints-

#1: The scene involved a tooth-ache

#7: The film won an oscar for it's screenplay (I'm surprised no one has gotten this yet)

#19: The big head belongs to a late 90's Terence Stamp

#21: The film involves a murder, apparantly by poison

#22: Taken from a montage of our characters' various childhood endeavors

#25: The shadow belongs to a British actor in a film based on a Graphic novel

#27: This film won an Oscar for it's costumes

I'm concluding Marie Antoinette for #26.

Indeed.

19: Bowfinger

Correct.

Wild guess for 25: From Hell?

Incorrect.

7: The Producers?

Correct. What took you so long? I was sure the pretzels would give it away immediately!

19: The Limey?

Nope, as Marc already guessed correctly.

Oh, alright then.

I've tried to make it a bit more difficult this time, so here - for your pleasure - is a bunch of inserts and wide shots:

#4 reminds me of a shot in The Mummy Returns...though I suspect it's Kingdom of Heaven. I know I've seen the feet from #3 many times before...might that be L.A. Confidential?

Number 4 is neither The Mummy Returns nor Kingdom of Heaven, but number 3 is indeed L.A. Confidential.

Is #4 (the horse on the hill) Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade?

I could have sworn it's DANCES WITH WOLVES

Yes, it is.

That just leaves this one:

Been thinking about De Palma, too, but the only thing that came to my head was Carlito - where it could only have been the prison scene, which is shot from a different angle and has transparent glass...

It's hard to make out, too. The positioning of the hands and something underneat (a book?) still seems familiar. There seems to be a keyboard reflected, but surely it's not Sneakers?

I'm thinking through movies with opening montages that might contain that shot...but none with the character talking about his parents.

Can I just say what the last four of mine are? They seem to be doomed to oblivion.
