AlohaBlunts 1 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Someone should make a small statue or action figure of John Williams. Or maybe even a bust. How cool would it be to be able to pet John Williams bust's head?
King Mark 3,975 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I'd buy it.Hasbro should make him into a SW figure.K.M.
Composer_Fan 2 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I like the bust idea more. He can sit next to Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart!
Jill Sandwich 11,171 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Also a Jerry Goldsmith figure, with assessories such as baton, music sheets and switchable hairstyles.
Incanus 5,891 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 A whole film composer action figure and bust series. That would be great. Who wouldn't want his idol's head on his shelf? Williams, Goldsmith, Herrmann, Rózsa, a whole series from the Golden Age to the modern times. I ask again who wouldn't want those?
Molaram 0 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Yes, you could even have changing clothing for them. For instance, Goldsmith could come with a multitude of whacky ties and Williams could come with a closet full of black turtlenecks...you get the idea.
Salacius 7 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Or how about if you could get a mini replica of the LSO with mechanised players fitted with a CD player that triggers them to move with the music And Williams's action figure will be conducting the Orchestra,Plus you should be able to get Williams and Goldsmith fighting with their batons like the action figures of Obiwan and Darth Maul from Episode I!
Docteur Qui 1,581 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 But Horner would come with all the same accessories.
MSM 194 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 That brilliant idea was mine already See here.
robthehand 3 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 There should be one of those models that wobbles its head in the car.
Melange 448 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 How about a "Johnny Dog" that you place near the back window of a car?The rocking motion of the car waves his baton (arm on a rather flexible spring). Mind you, it would probably hypnotize drivers who are behind you and cause crashes.Or, carve a Johnny head into Mount Rushmore
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Romão made a John Williams Lego figure once.
Incanus 5,891 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Or, carve a Johnny head into Mount Rushmore LOLOr we could buy impressive cliff face somewhere in America and sculpt all our favorite film composers in it. Johnny of course would have the biggest and best spot in it A tough competitor for Mount Rushmore. We could name it Mount Williams or Massive of Williams or something I can see the long lines of avid film score fans on a pilgrimage to the Mount Williams.
robthehand 3 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Romão made a John Williams Lego figure once. Any pictures?
nicholas 1 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 What about a mile high figure of JW carved from marble spanning the mouth of the Hudson River like a mighty colossus? His head could revolve and steam come out of the ears, for some reason.
Luke Skywalker 2,386 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Romão made a John Williams Lego figure once. Any pictures? he had him in his avatar for a long time....
Quintus 6,499 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Walmart should stock John Williams "Mr Stretch" dolls.
Olivier 5 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Film composer action figures thread on FilmTracks' board (May, 2002)Sideshow Colelctibles could sculpt nice statues / busts / figurines of the greatest film composers.Film score-related collectibles thread on FilmTrack's board (April, 2002)Film music composers smileys by yours truly (2003-4?) ST-321 42 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 And Williams's action figure will be conducting the Orchestra,Or perhaps a Bith Band or even the Max Rebo Band.I would love to have a John Williams action figure and a bust!
