I can’t say enough about this soundtrack. It is fantastic. I actually just deleted my previous Hook Expanded Release from 2012. This one blows that one out of the water. The production is so well done. Hearing the music finally properly presented is the absolute best. To me it is John William’s best score. I also love so many others as well. Home Alone 1&2, His Harry Potter scores, Star Wars and Jurassic Park, just to name a few. I’m so glad I preordered this before it was released. It is a masterpiece. Still my favorite piece of music is the entire Ultimate War battle music including “Death of Rufio” and “Sword fight and the end of Hook”. I can’t get enough of it.

I absolutely love this new release! It is fantastic! Very well produced and made. So amazing to hear the battle music in great quality without volume dips. Well done LaLaLand Records! Great job I am very impressed. Hook is the first movie remember watching as a kid. It has always been my favorite John Williams soundtrack.

I throughly enjoyed Jurassic World. Very well done film! To me The Force Awakens was my favorite film of 2015. Such a massive step up from the prequels. I always tell people this but i grew up with the prequels when all the prequels came out I just didnt care about Star Wars in general then i saw Attack of the Clones and went to the midnight release of Revenge of the Sith and then thought they were amazing. About 5 years I ago i watched the prequels again and realized honestly how bad the prequels are. The acting was very stiff and the dialogue was very badly written. One thing i will say some actors Ewan McGregor, Ian McDirmid were great at least I thought in there roles. The music in the prequels to me for me was better then The Force Awakens. Still I loved the score for the film. A friend bought the soundtrack for me for Christmas and i love it. The embossed Slipcover case was a huge selling point for me! Love the look of the packaging very well done. Fingers crossed for an expanded release for The Force Awakens in 2016. It's probably very unlikely but I'm still hopeful. Lol

i now have seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens 6 times. in my opinion i feel that the soundtrack did represent the movie very well. i find myself listening to the album almost everyday! Is it as good as the prequel or Original Trilogy music? No. But I do feel that the soundtrack did represent the film well. i know there is a lot of music that was left out and I do hope that gets released soon but it took me a few listens to get warmed up to the album but I throughly enjoy it now.

No. Embossing is a very difficult technique which requires a lot of skill and time, for a result that is mindblowing. The price is totally justified. But the question is cover of The Force Awakens soundtrack be embossed? i know we don't really no yet but Im pretty sure a few weeks ago on the Disney Music Emporium website said the cover would be embossed and at the time it was only $19. can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks!

Just checked The Disney Music Emporium website, The Force Awakens soundtrack the last time I checked was $19. Which is reasonable but not it is $34.00 for no embossed cover and just a poster!?! Wow! And yes I am complaining that is crazy i can see if it's a two CD set but its not. Anyone else agree?

I'm not being serious I was just wondering if the embossed cover is still happening I know there were talks about it for a while hopefully this still happens.

i definitely be purchasing The Force Awakens score on December 18, but i do have one question will the CD artwork still be the embossed cover like previously stated or has that now changed? i think it would be so awesome to have the embossed cover huge selling point for me. Man of Steel by Hans Zimmer had this also didn't it? Either way the cover/case was amazing! Loved it.

I read i believe it was Forbes saying The Force Awakens is opening in 3,900 theaters. Does this worry anyone? i thought it would at least have 4,200-4,300 theaters. Just wondering everyone's thoughts. Thanks!

okay so the score is 77 minutes long. i'm okay with this and really excited. Hopefully though at soime point the other 2 hours of music gets released. Also is the 30 mins of unreleased music being released as well? Didn't JJ say there was an additional 30 minutes that would be released?b I wonder if it is already included in the 77 minute album runtime. Thanks!1

Hopefully eventually we will get the other possibly 100 minutes of the recorded score for the force awakens. Maybe if the album sells really well maybe the rest of the score will be released like The Phantom Menace Ultimate Edition.
