BLUMENKOHL 1,070
I can't believe how seriously underrated The Prince of Egypt is.Maybe it has to do with the 20 albums floating around creating confusion. But (one of) the complete score that is nothing but score, is marvelous. Most beautiful music out of a cartoon in my humble opinion.
Delorean90 42
I need to hear more, but from what I've heard of Zimmer, The Lion King and The Prince of Egypt are my favorites of his. Good stuff.
Neimoidian 14
Still, Zimmer's input is mainly in the underscore (quite good one though), but not in the songs (in "Lion King" they were written by Elton John, I don't know whether Zimmer arranged them, and these from "Prince..." were written by Stephen Schwarz and - from what I heard - arranged by Powell). Koray Savas 2,251
Haha, I'm sorry, but this post has been up for a week. Also, right off the top of my head, I know you're the only one who has mentioned Thelma & Louise, Days Of Thunder, and Black Rain, and the second to mention Rain Man. Seems nobody has even heard the early Zimmer years, we are some of the few.

Olivier 5
It's pleasantly surprising to see Spanglish mentionned several times; I love it, it's a great little score; the "little" (quieter) scores of his that I have are very good. From Thelma and Louise I only know the "Thunderbird" cue (not the original recording, though, but the "Wings ofthe Film" one), which I love.
