I felt he did a pretty good job in Moon garnering sympathy. But I agree that most of characters he's played have either not required, or sought, sympathy.

Not really that film made me want his character to die already.

Ben Affleck in David Fincher's

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, film-fans of all ages,I give you (drum roll, please) the new Batman...er...

Doesn't look too good, does it, chief..?

Looks like the husband did it or was that the Simpsons?

Wrong thread, but what the hell:

Shitty guilty pleasure written all over it and at last we have Goldsmith music in a video game!

Are you sure they didn't just do that for the trailer, and the game itself will have some modern RCP/Bryan Tyler-style shit?

Tarantino might reconsider, when he's cooled down.

OTOH, I don't really need another western that soon from the man.

In fact, I wish he made another film he didn't write himself. Tarantino can write (dialogue) but lately I don't think his writings lead to great movies.

IB certainly feels to me like the writings of Tarantino. A few great standalone scenes (dangerously close at showing off) but a coherent great movie? I didn't see that. Same for Death Proof.

Either way I loved it and couldn't buy the blu quick enough. Restored my faith in the director it did. For some reason I've only ever seen it the once, though.

Death Proof almost sent me to sleep.

Did he wrote Inglorious? I can't remember.

He's written all his movies (though Pulp Fiction also gives Story credit to Roger Avery and Jackie Brown is an adaptation of a book by Elmore Leonard)

That's pretty disappointing. I'm a fan of everything Tarantino has put out. Maybe he'll simmer down and go forward with it after all. I can't imagine how frustrated he must be though.

Liam Neeson and Aaron Paul rumored for Roland and Eddie Dean respectively for The Dark Tower movie adaptation, directed by Ron Howard:

I'm not completely sold on Liam for Roland, but it could see it work. Aaron for Eddie is a match made in heaven though.
