Wishful thinking, I know, but I fear Mad Max overload, or trying to stretch a thin-plotted series into something it's not.Hopefully he doesn't go off the deep end and jump the shark with Mad Max Maximum Overdrive where the cars come to life and kill people. Now, I'm not entirely against the idea of sequels, but I would have been OK, had we been left with just Fury Road.But really, the sequels will be of little interest if Miller doesn't direct. Fury Road had all the ingredients that generally make for annoying action movies: loud music, loud SFX, non-stop action, little dialogue, etc. Yet, it worked, and it's of course mostly because of Miller. Remove him from the equation, and you're left with yet another bland blockbuster. Of course, we could still be surprised by whoever ends up directing the sequels, but still...
