jasonblueeyes 0
Even though it's a dark and often powerful and thrilling movie...Temple Of Doom is very, very funny.

Neimoidian 14
Quite entertaining, but overall disappointing as a whole and even irritating at times. Great cinematography and the score.

Quintus 5,399
I wish she'd 'deliver' herself and her ample bosom to me. * *Willie Scott, not Kate Capshaw.
Charlie Brigden 7
'Too much to drink, Doctor Jones?'My favourite. An excellent thrill ride, with a glorious, glorious score.
Wojo 2,453
Back in May, I ripped the audio channels of the whole DVD, but sat on them when I learned of the impending release. The other night, I listened to them all in Audacity, in the hopes I'd find decent unreleased music to extract and add to my set, while I played Spider Solitaire. It really was a nice experience because while the images played in my head, it made me better appreciate the movie for its humor and killer soundtrack. Oh, and I got a decent sounding extract of the Fortune and Glory bit. Other than that, I'm genuinely pleased with the material that Concord provided...once it's stitched back up, of course. Bryant Burnette 654
Generally speaking, Spielberg has a very deft hand with humor. (Yes, yes, I know his actual comedies are an exception to that rule.)

Neimoidian 14
"Nice try, Lao-Che!" one of the best jokes ever I actually like that too. And the palace banquet is a great scene of coulinaire horror.
Wojo 2,453
Strange. Most people I know hate Temple of Doom specifically for the culinary humor. And the bug tunnel. And the live sacrifice. And the screaming blond ninny.

Maxxie 1
Another three great lines:1) - "DO IT NOW!!!" - Indy, shaking his fist at Willie! 2) - "Ah Shut Up Willie!" - Indy, shouting at Willie to stop screaming at the bugs. 3) - "Drop them Dr. Jones; they will be found - YOU WON'T!" - Mola Ram on the bridge.
