Other takeaways-- Hook expanded edition is selling like hotcakes and may be 80% (or more) sold out already... and MM hasn't begun working on Star Wars expansions yet. (Or maybe he has and he's really good at hiding that fact. But the way he spoke about SW as a project he'd like to work on doesn't sound prepared. I think he really hasn't been given the green light yet for that one.)

But the Holiday special "could" happen!  [P.S. To be clear, it was a joke]

We all know that he's working on it at Andrew Garfield's house!

Meaning Disney hasn't even reached out to him yet with the possibility of doing the Star Wars scores. Thus we can conclude that Disney isn't even thinking about doing proper expanded editions of the Star Wars scores. Sure, they may be working on that without Matessino's involvement but considering they keep re-releasing the old OSTs I don't think that is likely.

Strap-in for a long wait, folks. The only way we'll get proper Star Wars expansions is if someone who also has a similar mindset to the regular JWFan takes over a position of power within Disney and is able to convince Lucasfilm and the powers-that-be to hire Matessino to do the job. But does such person exist in current day Hollywood?

Alternatively, Matessino could do such an awesome pitch to Iger, Kennedy, etc., that will convince them to greenlit the project. But will the higher-ups at Disney, a company who has been struggling lately, be convinced to put money in such a... niche project?

Or maybe they will do what why did with Sony, and sell their CD stuff to the labels....

Yeah, nope.

He hasn’t. But he’s on it.

Damn, the TPM UE was so bad that it lead to the slowdown of all expansions for a decade.
