John 2,032
Which dystopian sci-fi film and score do you prefer; Kubrick/Carlos’ A Clockwork Orange or Scott/Vangelis’ Blade Runner?
Thor 7,504
BLADE RUNNER for both. But CLOCKWORK is fantastic, of course. Will these 'versus' topics never end?

Lewya 360
Blade Runner by far in both categories. Both the score and film is top 10 of all time material. Fabulin

Dixon Hill 4,234
I prefer Kubrick's film but its great selection of music isn't quite as good as Vangelis' Blade Runner.

In this case, you're unintentionally correct, though, since the score of BLADE RUNNER is supposed to blend organically with the sound design, creating an overall soundscape. So it does function as 'noise' in a certain sense of the word.
JoeinAR 1,949
I knew you would reply because i said something similar about Chariots of Fire. Incidentally that film is neither about Chariots nor about fire. Discuss amongst yours.

The line itself dates from the book of 2 Kings Ch. 2 V. 11.
