I've always loved this cue, especially the heroic brass motif strewn throughout and the statement of Short Round's theme as they bridge the gap in the rails (that was unfortunately cut in the film). Also because it's the only track on the OST that features Mola Ram's theme.

Which Unreleased Temple Cue Are You Anticipating Most?
WellOfSouls replied to crumbs's topic in General Discussion
"The Broken Bridge/British Relief". All the major themes come together and it has that fantastic wrap-up leading into the Raiders March. -
Which Unreleased Crusade Cue Are You Anticipating Most?

"Alarm!" because I've never been able to hear it outside of the film. Also, I love the humorous moment when the Nazi turns around and smiles. -
Favourite Raiders March apperance
WellOfSouls replied to FattyMcButterpants's topic in General Discussion
My favorite of those listed is "Flight From Peru," but my favorite overall is probably during Last Crusade when young Indy escapes the train through the magic box. Although I also really like the very end of "The Portuguese Coast" as the theme is passed through different sections of the orchestra and lands us safely back at Indy's college. -
It's really grown on me. I love what I'm assuming is the B-section of the theme that starts at 1:21. I also picked up on the CE3K connection that's especially obvious at the end of "The Departure" (another fantastic cue). I think it stands up to the other artifact themes pretty well.

Signs would definitely be my number 1. The rest in no order: Big Fish Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (cheating, I know, but you could argue they're all one big score) The Bourne Supremacy Spider-Man Dinosaur The Village The Fountain

I literally just listened to this score a couple hours ago. Weird. Definitely a big fan of this one, although I can see how it might not be very accessible for a lot of listeners as there isn't any central theme to latch onto. It's mostly just really lush and beautiful underscore augmented by some very good songs. My favorite is definitely "Bumps and Hollows." 4.5 for me.

The only reason to check this out is the more complete recording of the Finale/End Credits track from ToD. From the Amazon sound clip, you can hear the first statement of the Indy theme overlaid with Short Round's theme that was edited out of the original album version.

I've always loved the end to "Flight From Peru" from Raiders. But out of the options above, "Sail Barge Assault" gets my vote. I especially love the little "buh buh buh bah!" brass flourish at the very end.

My first was the cassette of Superman: The Movie (still my favorite score of all time), followed by the cassettes for Hook, Jurassic Park, and Batman Returns probably around '93 or '94. After that the first score CD I bought was Aliens (at that point I was obsessed with the film and the cue "Bishop's Countdown"). After that I got Waterworld and ESB for Christmas and have been hooked entirely on scores ever since.

Little moments of pure Williams bliss
WellOfSouls replied to TownerFan's topic in General Discussion
One of my "bliss" moments is in E.T. during the cue "At Home." About two and a half minutes into the cue after some menacing low brass statements of Keys' theme, the harp accompaniment suddenly shifts gears and we're taken into the Elliot/E.T. harp love theme. It's such a gorgeous moment. Later, in the same cue, Keys' theme is heard briefly again played by solo flute, reminding us of the family's surveillance. Amazing, subtle moments. -
I pretty much can't stand it anymore. As a side note, didn't he actually steal it from a concert work? Wouldn't surprise me at all if he did.
