  1. I imagine the conversation with Disney going something like this:
  2. Uh oh. We've heard 3 minutes of a 70 minute score and we're already discussing how JNH is passed his best and longing for the days when he was in his prime
  3. "The Room of Requirement" is a very good cue. I think Hooper did well during OOTP when they covered about 10 chapters through musical montages
  4. Need a clean version of "Sirius Black Escape" without Hermione's screams and the explosion
  5. James Hannigan's score for that game is arguably stronger than any of Hooper's material for the film
  6. Certainly from a technical standpoint, I think it's his best score since POA.
  7. There's only so much an actor can do with dialogue like "I don't like sand"
  8. Standards Burton film really. I found some parts really difficult to follow. Score wasn't particularly memorable, opening theme was fairly eerie but the action material leaned towards Hans Zimmer/remote control stuff
  9. Don't really look forward to anything Zimmer anymore, but prefer his animation work to any of his modern action material
  10. Refreshing to see Zimmer (and his minions) doing an animation.
  11. There was a rumour of Frank Oz being at Pinewood. If this is true, I'm glad they're using a puppet instead of CGI
  12. Still no conductor announced yet. I'm just gonna dream about JW flying over to conduct
  13. Not sure I'll ever fully comprehend how JW managed to write some of his most complex action cues sitting at his piano with a pencil and paper
  14. They couldn't even fit in Peeves, would love to have seen what Rik Mayall filmed
  15. Can anyone point me in the direction of some of Giacchino's best action cues? Thanks.
