From my private collection ...
A long time ago, I remember playing this CD just for kicks, because the brass sounded so incredible on my then huge IMF transmission line speakers. (photo internet)

It's because Spielberg has outgrown those movies but he needs to keep making them or else he no longer can get financing for movies like The Fabelmans.

Frances Ha (2012)

A24 reacted to Mr. Who in So George Miller wants to make one final Mad Max film but Warner Bros. isn't interested
I think this movie is about what Max was up to before Fury Road. Miller wrote three stories kind of at the same time I read and one was max and one was furiosa and then fury road. Kind of bc bunny that he made technically the third one first.
i really hope he gets to make the third movie. Furiosa was great, maybe even better than Fury Road in some ways (except the score which was boring).

A24 reacted to Naïve Old Fart in General movie chitchat
He's made at least four modern classics:
PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK,
WITNESS,
DEAD POETS SOCIETY,
MASTER AND COMMANDER,
and two that are criminally underrated:
THE MOSQUITO COAST,
FEARLESS.

A24 got a reaction from filmmusic in Anyone here succumbed to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray?
Maybe you would see things differently if you too were a fervent Blu-ray/4K collector.

A24 reacted to leeallen01 in The Box Office thread
I forgot about Prisoners. I think that's probably his best film, and pretty much the only film of his where I was invested both in the plot and emotionally in the characters.

Are they wrong?
Or do you still believe Citizen Kane and Gone With The Wind are the best films ever made?

A24 reacted to Naïve Old Fart in The Box Office thread
Nolan and Villeneuve are false gods, and the temples need to be destroyed, immediately.

A24 got a reaction from Naïve Old Fart in The Box Office thread
I agree but doesn't the new generation consider it one of the greatest movies ever made? Is Inception, together with TDK, not the very reason why they have built all these Nolan churches?

A24 reacted to Naïve Old Fart in What Is The Last Film You Watched? (Older Films)
That's because he's a movie star, and not an actor - although, when he wants to, he can be a damn good actor.
