Horner scoring the Connelly movie instead of Goldsmith is like when the bad guy gets the girl at the end of the movie.

Brundlefly 2,385
Nobody wins against Michelle Pfeiffer and Jennifer Connelly! @publicist, didn't you forget someone? Barrymore, Davis, Roberts, uuhm... Supergirl, Pfeiffer, ...?

Early 90s Jennifer Connelly with those big jugs and dynamic JH music is some ultimate spank material.

Kasey Kockroach 2,344
Chinatown is one of those scores I bought cheap because everyone said it's the greatest thing ever of all times, I listened to it once, and I forgot I owned it ever since. I was still figuring out what my musical tastes were at the time, so I didn't realize I was bored because it wasn't music for flesh-eating beetles or psychotic little green monsters who can't get wet or be exposed to sunlight. Kasey Kockroach 2,344
I enjoyed the film and the score served it splendidly, I just haven't desired to hear it on its own.
Loert 2,515
Jerry Goldsmith is NOT overrated. I definitely think he deserves his spot amongst the top rank of film composers. He's just really good.
