Yes I would go with Gremlins, the 25th Anniversary this year with a new DVD / Blu-Ray coming out in Sept too. FSM also have a good relationship with Warners (which would help with future Inner Space & The Goonies releases! So here's hoping!)

Judging from what Lukas said on FSM I think next week's release is just going to be either an expanded single or 2-CD set. I doubt it's going to be a box set like Batman. I would imagine if Batman were to be released in complete form that LaLa Land would do it.

Yeah, LLLR has said in their forum they are doing '89 "Batman, so unless it's a box set collaboration with FSM, it's highly unlikely.

That is what I was wondering. There were some "stingers" missing on the album, as well as some "important" music like Vicki's rescue from the restaurant, but I do not see much that could be included as an individual Track.

There's quite a bit. In fact some cues on the OST are edited...example "First Confrontation", "Batman To The Rescue" and "Attack Of The Batwing". If Batman ever got a complete release I would buy it in a heart beat.

I wouldn't go out of my way, but I'd probably get it. The OST is good but a lot of it is filler and the score gets boring after a while, so a complete release would need some pretty spectacular new material.

What do you consider filler, Wojo? I think it's a terrific score with a terrific album--but it would be a much better one without the microedits. The album edits out some of the best parts, particularly from "First Confrontation" and "Attack of the Batwing."

ETAndElliot4Ever, as much as I want B89 complete, I think you may be right. I'd love both, though, and I think LaLaLand is interested in releasing all of the Elfman and Goldenthal scores complete--I know Forever has been thrown around.

This is kind of inconsistent, as "Nightly News Bumper" and "Sinister Commercial" could technically be considered bonus tracks, but I think they work well, and "Cosmetics Scare" comes out of "Sinister Commercial nicely.

They said nothing about actually working on it.

One of the problems is that the original score album may still be in print.

While it's fun to speculate Lukas did mention this was a real holy grail, which probably means it's something truly special.

As much as I love Rozsa, I feel that with my Rhino Ben-Hur, King of Kings, and Tadlow's El Cid, I've got all the Rozsa I can handle. I know there are some other stellar scores available, but I think I might actually go after another of FSM's big boxes first.
