Are we sure Rey doesn’t have some Skywalker in her?

That would require rewatching the episodes. Are the episodes rewatchable? They seem to rely on “shock” value (though you can see all the “surprises” coming after the first few episodes).

It’s obviously trying to be Game of Thrones. But unfortunately it comes off more like “Lothar of the Hill People.”

Pellaeon got a reaction from Tallguy in Will you get the newly remastered Star Wars soundtracks?
Ah, I see. Well, that’s kind of the point, isn’t it? Old Hollywood, grand and uncynical? I dunno, I find it satisfying and congruous with the rest of the Trilogy. Victory Celebration sounds distinctly dated to the 90s. Peruvian pan flutes?

What do people think about classifying the “New Han and Leia” concert piece under TFA rather than ESB? Of course it is a quote of the ESB theme, but, isn’t its added melancholy due to the contemporary sad events portrayed in TFA? I imagine it as Leia contemplating their relationship at the time of their bittersweet reunion in TFA, or after Han’s death.

Pellaeon got a reaction from Bespin in In what form do you listen to "The Force Awakens" the most?
I listen to the Lockhart the most. It’s eighteen minutes of pure delight. I must admit, to my untrained ear the OST a bit of a slog, outside the material present in the suite. And of course the suite develops my favorite material, in eminently listenable form. I’ll probably listen to a fuller recording in some form or other (leaning towards the FYC) from time to time, but the Lockhart recording definitely the most. It scratches the itch just fine.
It also strikes me as perhaps more youthful and adventuresome than Williams’ recording, but, I’m shooting from the hip here and will have to listen to back-to-back comparisons sometime.

I used to sequence discs 1-3 with the additional tracks from disc 4, but with album versions, chronological is out the door anyway, so why bother?

I find it's best to just listen to it in order discs 1-4. It's pretty well assembled and a charming product of it's time that holds up as a great listening experience to this day.

    Welcome Pellaeon!

Sometimes when I want a "quickie" I only listen to one CD yes... but on my mp3 player, I also made playlist combining the tracks from CD 4.

It's the most "chronological" we can get with this boxset I think (Concert suites included)!

I'm sure a discerning fan like Pellaeon wouldn't want to limit himself to the mistakes made on those individual sets!
