Nope, HP 3, expanded Dracula, proper Temple of Doom and the Sugarland Express are all priorities.

It's not a bad theme, it's just not in the upper echelon of all themes Williams has ever composed, not by a mile.  I'm surprised someone like KM likes it so much.

And if you can find a woman willing to put up with miserable you and pretend to be your wife, would you put a padlock on the precious OLED TV while you're away at work?

Eleven hours after I'm told that the TV has died, it magically turns itself back on and works as if nothing is wrong.

It seems apparent to me that you don't want to accept that all this is happening on a subjective level, hence there may be people who prefer the C&C presentation over their OST counterpart.

A film score is not just its main title, or a suite of themes, or its soundtrack album, or an expanded release. One may say "I love the Schindler's List score" but only listen and enjoy its main theme or a selection of cues. Well to me that's not appreciating the score in its entirety as a listening experience, that's all I'm saying. And as I said before there's nothing wrong with it, it's just a matter of preference and appreciation.

BTW feel free to use words like "pedantic" or "fallacy" to try to discredit my opinion, but don't expect me to take yours seriously if you choose to do so.

And the whole Holdo. Basically she’s like FU, I’m not telling anyone shit.

A true leader would have gathered the troops and said, “we are in the vacinity of an old rebel base on crait and our plan is to make a run for that planet.”

Plus she just sit there and stares while the rebel transports are picked off one by one.

As soon as the last transport left and the FO started firing I almost jumped out my seat in the theatre and started to scream at the screen. “TURN THE @&$%*!! SHIP AROUND AND RAM THEM!!

Canto Bight would have been a great place to bring Lando back into the fold. I picture him retiring and becoming a player at the casinos.

With his wealth he could have been a backup plan for Leia if things went bad, and they did.

Like I mentioned earlier, Finn became useless in this film. He damn near single handidly destroys the resistance with his and Roses idiotic decisions.

Imagine if he did die and the rage Rey might carry over to the next film. That would have been something to build on.

But it we had to have a reunion between those two and set up another possible  chemistry less love affair, like the prequels, between him and Rose.

I’d laugh if JJ kills Rose off in the first several minutes of Episode 9

A nice 'twist' would have been Hux is the real Snoke. Snoke was just a decoy and Hux is the real leader faking a cowardly personality. The moment when Hux stood over Kylo unconscious, and reached for his blaster to kill him, i thought "please, here we go. Hux reveals himself as Snoke and takes out a lightsaber instead of a blaster."

I will say kudos to Gwendoline Christie, who’s seems truly excited about her role in this film, even though her character could have just stood in the corner picking her nose based on how she was used in the films.

Every time they cut to the fleet pursuing the lone, slow rebel cruiser, all I could think of was the Family Guy Star Wars episode.

On the contrary, I wouldn't mind the old themes if they got an updated treatment instead of verbatim quotes, including orchestration.

I think its the best Star Wars score composed by John Williams, this year.

I'm looking forward to Finn getting electric shocked by something again in Episode 9 and for the scene to turn into something from an awful sitcom. "I can't feel my teeth! What did you shoot me with?!" *insert laugh track*

Can someone explain to me what the point of Finn getting hurt in TFA was? It led to nothing in TLJ? When Han was frozen in carbonite, it was in case Ford didn't return, but it still led somewhere. The entire Jabba subplot was resolved and we saw a more powerful Luke as a result.

This movie is such a complete failure on so many levels (mainly from writing and directing point of view) that it brought me to the point where I don't care anymore about this story and these characters. For me this is the final act of a long goodbye that started in 1999. The music is truly the only saving grace and thank goodness we still have John Williams at least.

These two articles sum up perfectly (and much better than I would) all the issues I had with Last Jedi (sorry if they've been already posted before)
