I frickin' love this movie. Just a feel-good bit of 70s bliss. I especially enjoy the stuff about Dreyfuss' struggling with his idiot theatre director over the flamboyant portrayal of Richard III – his playing drunk afterward and reading the newspaper reviews had me in stitches! I place this in the same category as Tootsie, The World According to Garp and Mr Mom, I just love this era of dramady.

The effects of the first Matrix one have something timeless, just like the effects of the first JP.

More accurate would be: The need of a big screen is not exclusively a matter of quality, but also of intent.

Loved all 3 seasons from Fargo, although the first one is still my favorite. Billy Bob Thornton created one of the gretest and most terrifying villains on TV this decade.

I was considering watching because I liked the first seasons of Sherlock back in the day, but I'm in really no mood for a hip Dracula that becomes Superman. Hard pass.

That one might be even less worse than Glass. It's a totally redundant movie. The Mark Wahlberg one is a failed B movie experiment, but at least he was kinda trying.

I watched the Ultimate Cut for the first time a couple months back, just before I started watching the TV show, and I liked the Ultimate Cut a lot!  The Black Freighter cartoon being integrated in along with new newstand scenes to bridge to it was pretty good

Besides, the upgrade is minimal. No point of wasting your money.

True. Oliver Stone isn't the most subtle director around. He's a maker of statements, not suggestions.

Though i find Gilliam's quotes more than reasonable. He even admits that technically these things are marvelous. The basic problem still is not Marvel, that's only a symptom of a constant dumbdown through mass media, it's that these corporation have the responsibility to raise the bar and in the past, they did both, the lofty and the spectacle. Gilliam is right that companies like Disney should spend more of their stupid movie's money into more diversity, and i don't mean gender.

Meanwhile Villeuve is named 'Best Filmmaker Of The Decade' by the Hollywood Critics Association:
