‘ALIEN’ will re-release in theaters on April 26
 

In 1979 I thought Alien was the scariest movie ever. Now I think it's a masterpiece in mood, design and direction (storytelling).
 
It also makes me wonder what the frack happened to Ridley Scott.

Agreed! I stopped watching after a couple of episodes. 

I once bought it for a friend's birthday. It's probably worth its weight in gold now. 

Anyway, I think it was because of Omar Sharif.

Yes. And in a way he ended his film series with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood on a perfect note.

Let's hope his last movie won't be another Western, because let's face it, that's not his forte. Heck, even a Tarantino Bond movie would be better than a Western. 

I only have it on CD-R and I forgot to write down the title of the CD. I might upload the track tomorrow so that you can hear it.

Apparently Steven Wilson, who recently remixed Richard Wright's Wet Dream (recommended - check it out on your streaming service!), is now remixing David Gilmour's debut album.

Disappointing that I can find hardly any stills from this on the net. Slocombe's cinematography is stunning.
