Surprised the score is recording this early.
Only a snippet but sounds like a generic, indiscernible outtake from Alien Vs Predator. I'd challenge you to find a dull 10 second excerpt from Arnold's ID4 score!
I'll wait for a meatier clip before shitcanning Kloser too much, but I'm resigned to the likelihood this'll be a dust-collector. Arnold's score was lightning in a bottle and his themes are iconic; nothing new Kloser writes will come close to Arnold's themes. I'm expecting something like Giacchino's Jurassic World; a 110 minute score where the only memorable thing is the previous composer's music.

I always thought Scherzo for Motorcycle was more reminscent of Walton's Scherzo from the first Symphony.
There are many more, much more striking examples showing that even JW can get his inspiration from other music. However, I don't like the tone of this thread. JW is no thief.

1) Williams on Williams - The Classic Spielberg Scores (has JW's own arrangements of Hook, Raiders and more)
2) Cinema Serenade (the first album; the second is less interesting)
3) The Star Wars Triilogy (BPO album, Philips, great sound quality)
4) By Request - The Best of Joh Williams and the Boston Pops (it has the great Cowboys Ouverture, and a different rendition of Midway March, with one of the best JW endings ever)
5) I Love a Parade (has the great Pops on the March, only album as far as I know)

Were I extremely positive about the music in the first trailer, the music i hear now is shamelessly generic, there is no theme whatsoever but some bland repetitive motive and driving synthesized percussion. It sounds all like Batman 2.0. Nothing original. Disappointing. Let's hope it's not part of the score but actually from a stock of trailer music.

SawDark Knight Rises yesterday...appeared to be a three hours documentary on terrorism - not exactly my thing. Batman didn't even have the chance to shine, being beaten twice by Bane (who's appeared to be a whining puppet in the last moment). Screenplay big chaos. Music as generic as it comes. Very low entertaining value. All pointless.
Disappointing, 5 out of 10. BB I would still rate 8.5 out of 10.
Yet he hated her father because he was expelled from the League?? No logic.
